So far, we have watched our local team, Wellington State, play at the Basin Reserve once. This game was against Northerns. Some pictures are shown below. The highlights of the day were a sparkling century from Chris Nevin, who also took a stunning catch, and some fireworks from James Franklin

This is me on the way back from getting a couple of tinnies. This picture is here to show the marvellous grass bank square of the wicket which was our vantage point for most of the day. This disadvantage of the slope was that it is steep enough to gradually slide down. |
