To the President of Loblaws;

      I am writing to you regarding your brand of no name chocolate chip cookies. After performing an experiment comparing your brand of chocolate chip cookies with two other brands, I have come to the conclusion that your chocolate chips cookies are good but still has room for improvements. The other brands of cookies I have researched are Decadent PC and Chips Ahoy!. I write to inform you of these things in this letter in the hopes to help you improve your chocolate chip cookies. From all of the information I have gathered about your brand of cookies and the other two brands, I feel that the following three pieces of information proves my point the most; mass of the whole bag, mass of chocolate per cookie and number of cookies in each bag.

      Every one wants to get their money's worth as well as a good bargain to go along with it. A part of the good bargain is having a good amount of mass in the bag. From looking at your bag of cookies, I have found that your brand of no name chocolate chips cookies have about 600 grams per bag while the Chips Ahoy! brand has about 550 grams. Decadent PC has about 700 grams in one bag therefore making it the brand with the most mass (per bag).

      Along with the number of grams in each bag, to get a good bargain you want a plentiful number of cookies as well. In order to find that out, I have opened the bags of cookies and counted each one of them. In your company's bag of chocolate chip cookies, I have found that you had 44 cookies. In Chips Ahoy!, I found 39 cookies and 44 cookies in Decadent PC. Your no nameⓇ brand of chocolate chip cookies and Decadent PC had the best results in this category, both being tied with 44 cookies per bag.

      Lastly, what good is a chocolate chip cookie without the chocolate? That's the whole point of buying the cookie. By separating the dough from the chocolate and measuring the chocolate chips, I was able to get roughly the amount of chocolate in each cookie. Decadent PC has an average of 6.1 g of chocolate in each cookie while the cookie being 14.43 g. Chips Ahoy! has about 5.63 g of chocolate per cookie with each cookie having 14.7 g. Your brand of chocolate chip cookies has about 5.13 g of chocolate per cookie and 14.8 g in each cookie. If you compare the ratio of mass of the cookie to the mass of the chocolate in each cookie, you will find that Decadent PC has the better comparison because it was closer to a 1:1 ratio.

      In conclusion, along with the fact that your no name brand of chocolate chip cookies have room for improvement, you can clearly see that Decadent PC is the better brand out of the three I have experimented with. It had the most outstanding results and data in comparison to the others. I hope that you have found this letter helpful in the development of your brand. I wish you good luck with your product and hope to hear a response from you soon.

      Sincerely,
                                            A Consumer
