So many people date or don't date someone based on race. I've heard women say that their soulmate might be a different race than them, but they'd never know because they didn't date that particular race. I've met men who don't date outside of their race too. I've had White women refuse to date me because I'm Black, and I've had Black women refuse to date me because I'm too light. Farrah Abraham, of "Teen Mom" and anal porn fame, recently made it clear that she doesn't date Black men. I've seen Farrah on TV and have admired her obvious beauty. while feeling sympathy for the emotional trouble that she deals with -- but that's beside the point. Farrah Abraham and everyone else is entitled to date who they want, but it's a sad commentary on the present state of race relations in America that people are passing possible happiness by everyday, simply because of skin color. I will date a woman of any race, as long as she treats me well. Some of my best experiences have been with women of other races, and I don't regret a minute of it. Be who you are, but remember: The person that's right for you may not look like you. Open your eyes and your hearts to what's around you.
