It is only
natural for those with ancestors from Aberdeen to be curious about the
final resting place of their loved ones. I therefore present a number
of general photos of the graveyards within Aberdeen City to allow those
who are interested to see them for themselves. A brief synopsis of each site is
also given, which I hope will be useful to those who might wish to
visit.
We are very lucky in the North-East to have many fine
and well maintained graveyards. If you do visit I am sure you will not
be disappointed.
Unlike my section on Kincardineshire graveyards I
only have individual gravestone photos or inscriptions
for John Knox and the Snow burying grounds.
See the relevant pages for details. If you require an inscription
and/or photo from either of these send me your relevant details and
I'll e-mail you what I have. Note I cannot undertake 'blanket' requests
(see Terms & Conditions
on my Contents page) so please supply as much information as you can to
narrow the search. Be patient - I do this in my spare time and
this feature is very popular!

you have any general comments on these graveyard
pages you are welcome to contact me
