Nick shook his head and looked over at Brian who had just asked him something, “Huh?”
“Are you gonna sleep or play video games?”
“I don’t know.” Nick muttered walking into his room
Brian followed him, “What’s wrong? You’ve been acting strange all day.”
Nick rubbed the back of his head, “I think it’s just stress.” That was the only explanation he could have come up with. He hadn’t figured out what triggered the dream, or the people in it.
Brian looked at him for several seconds, “What happened in that dream of yours?”
Nick looked at him, “Well, there was this girl, and we were best friends.”
Brian nodded, “Stephanie?”
“Yeah, and then her best friend Megan was really cute and you…”
Brian looked at him, “I what?”
“You liked her. Then there was Kevin and Laura, they ended up getting married.” Brian’s mouth dropped a little and Nick grinned at his reaction, “Then there was Howie and Brandi, they got married too. A.J. and Stephanie went out for awhile, but I….” Nick stopped for a minute, “I know it all sounds strange, it was strange.”
“It was just a dream man, that’s all.”
“It seemed so real, and I saw her.”
“Saw who?” Brian asked in confusion
“During the concert I thought I saw Stephanie.”
“But that’s impossible.” Brian said shaking his head
“That’s exactly my point.” Nick said
“Maybe it was just your imagination.”
Nick sighed, maybe it was, and maybe it wasn’t

“So, what did you think of the show?” A.J. asked
Stephanie laughed, “You guys are fabulous entertainers.”
He grinned at her, “Glad you liked it.”
“I still don’t see why you flew me out here.”
“Because I wanted you to see the show.” A.J. answered
“Yes, I know. You guys are going to be in Orlando in just a few weeks.”
A.J. shrugged.
Stephanie had run into A.J. at the grocery store one night around midnight. A.J. hadn’t been paying attention and knocked over a stack of cookie boxes. Stephanie found it amusing but helped him pick things up. Only a few days later they had run into each other at the mall, literally. A.J. noticed a hat Stephanie had just bought and they started talking. Over the last month and a half they had become friends and A.J. had finally convinced her to come to a show, he just didn’t mention until a few days ago that the show was in Chicago. After much debate Stephanie finally agreed to go, and completely enjoyed it.

Nick walked across the hall and was about to knock on Brian’s door when he stopped short. A.J. was walking down the hall with Stephanie. Nick stood dumbfounded and didn’t move as the got closer. A.J. looked at Nick funny, Nick only continued to stare at Stephanie.
Stephanie noticed Nick’s strange expression and wondered if something wad wrong. As they got closer A.J. introduced them, “Stephanie, this is Nick. Nick, this is my friend Stephanie.”
Stephanie smiled, “Hi.”
Nick’s mouth opened and closed several times before a squeaky, “Hi” escaped.
A.J. gave him a sideways glance as they walked by and muttered, “What’s wrong with you?”
Nick didn’t answer but turned right around and went back into his room, “I’m having a mental breakdown.” He muttered
