Well, this is the about me page. I know, what a drag. Basically this page is about my site, stuff I do, stuff I've experienced, and why I put this piece up on the web in the first place. This is hopefully going to be something that will not be changed every 2 weeks, but updated. I will keep all entries on the page, marked by a line. Well that's the plan for now. I suppose this entry should be titled "i got my stupid about me page up!" woo-hoo! hooray for me! i know you don't care, so im not going to talk like you visit my page all the time. Well, the reason my site is here is something to look at. I've surfed around the web/net for 5 years now. And it took me forever to figure out computers. I got a lot of coaching from my best friend Corwin. That guy had to run everything in DOS for a long time, so I learned a lot of cool stuff. Currently I am 15, and proud of it. I just got myself a wonderful girl to share my life with, so don't try e-mailing me with the regular bull shit "Hi, my name is Suzie, im 15 too. why do you swear so much? I go to a church in the middle of nowhere, and we never swear there blah blah blah..." ok? I don't care! I probably never will. But I have been getting better with my swearing. Me g/f thwaped me a few times. (ow!) Incase you hadn't noticed I am a guy. I live in the low-down section of Raleigh North Carolina. I have a web site called The Home Of Absolutely Nothing...you get the point. I don't have any weird pictures stolen from video games to offer, but as soon as I get my hands on a digital camera, I'll see what I can do. But anyway, this site is mainly up to provide all you people with stuff to do that i feel is cool enough to get up here. You can always e-mail me and submit your site. I plan on making another links page with submitted sites. Yet on the other hand, its not like people are going to just roll around to my site by accident. Please put a link to my site on your page if you have one...and if you don't, tell your friends at least that you went to some site that is only trying to help out wondering surfers. Nothing like shameless self-promotion right? I'll get a guest book in here soon, so I can get some feed-back. This is my page for the public man! Use it! and enjoy it! My site is not pointless, its versatile. Hell, I know I'm bad with typos, I don't mind them, as long as you can read it you know? Also, incase you hadn't noticed, I like Sonic the Hedgehog music (hense the midi's) In other news, my dad is a chef, and my mom is a teacher. Well, I had almost forgoten. I made an extremely horrible web site about 2 and a half years ago right here. It's only funny because it is so horrible. I wasn't even into anime yet. Heck, I barely knew what anime was! Which brings me to my next subject, Japan. I love Japan! I want to live there for the rest of my life. That way I wont have to deal with my family! ^_^ Wont that be nice? Anyway, in the past year I have been extremely turned onto anime. I blame it mostly on my friend Chezne. He got to go to Japan in 1998 as a school trip. Yeah, they played Bust A Move, they got drunk, they took pictures of the vending machines, and above all, they got stared at!!! And now I own both of the Bust A Move soundtracks. I do have to admit, that Japan isn't all anime, or pop-culture. It is thriving with business. And the bosses there actually care about thier employees! Well, I'm going to leave this one short, after all, it is 3:30 in the morning...

well it seems that soon i will have my own domain name, and i can be rid of the angelfire mess. it was fun, but lets face it, once i get everything up and running at www.THOAN.net I'll be so stylin' it'll hurt! Check out my new banner!!!
= 5-26-2000 = *looks at the date on the side in amazement* AAH Summer of 2000, damn, wasnt there suppost to be a flying car or something? Oh well, even if the world doesnt bring on flying automobiles, THOAN will be comming out with THOAN the movie. Its slow, i know, but the original footage was found. (heh, like we wanted it back =P) Well, I was just sitting around over spring break on that first Saturday, becomming extremely bored, when i finaly said "DAMMIT! Why didnt Jon ever get the band started.....Thats it. I'm just gonna do it myself>" So after about 15 minutes of searching on softseek.com, i found about 8 different programs that sounded decent. So guess what, i downloaded all of em'. Nothing in my opinion this important is going to be done half-ass. After polaying around with a loop sequencer the next morning, I decided to make all the loops the same tempo, and mix them all with good old Microsoft Windows Sound Recorder. The result was Entomophobia (fear of insects). My fist techno song. WOWIE!...i let a couple people listen to it over the phone, and finaly started on a second song while on the phone with my umm......x...girlfriend. And Chorophobia was born, as well ass 2 alternative mixes. All done in Sound Recorder. I was getting pretty good at this. 6 more songs spawned from my computer that weekend, and that monday, the copyright forms were filled out. I have yet to turn them in, just because im too lazy. But i burned a CD shortly after all * songs were completed. In the time span of creation, i discovered that the loop sequencer had its own damn mixer, which pissed me off to hell. Yet i look back on it now, and realize that the only reason my early stuff was soo cool, is because i really wanted to do it....I MEAN BAD!!! Everything i have writen after that last hour of spring break, where i stayed up till 4:00 AM, and almost missed going to the bathroom, due to obsession, nothing has sounded right. And anything made in the past 2 weeks has been shit. So it was a one time wonder...i knew it while i was there. It was like being contious in a dream. I knew it would not last, so i pushed out as much as i could. The result i called "Wrave" a mix between Rave, and Wray, or Wave if you didnt know me ^_^..when Jon finaly gets in the groove, the Franic Antz will be reborn again, this time in a reality. When i finish the webpage, ill put a link on here, until then the only site i can give is www.mp3.com/wrave where i am uploading all my songs. Thanks for nothing everybody!
