Biography: "Kate Elliott" published her first novel with DAW Books in 1992. She earlier published four novels under her real name, Alis A. Rasmussen. "Kate" graduated from Mills College, in Oakland, CA, Rasmussen worked at the BBC in London before becoming a full-time writer. Her, her husband, and their three children live in central Pennsylvania.
