MASTIFF LOVE

When asked to write something for this
Educational Web Site, I had to be honest with myself.
I'm not the best at medical information for Mastiffs,
I'm not the best for testing and genetic information
regarding the Mastiff, I'm not the best for the
history of the Mastiff nor am I the best for training
information, etc. What do I really know and what can I
share? MASTIFF LOVE. I can tell you that if you are
considering bringing a Mastiff in to your home, be
prepared for a major life change. For you are about
to embark on a journey that can bring the highest of
joys, and the deepest of sorrows. Mastiffs are not just
a dog that you can put into the back yard, for they
burrow their way into your life and your heart. Expect
to have a best friend, a confidant, a soul that can be
so gentle and loving that sometimes you wonder how you
can be so connected with such a magnificent animal.When
the time comes to part, the sorrow of losing your best
friend will be such that at times you may not think
that you can bare it. If you want a guard dog, a backyard
dog, a big dog or just a pet then don't get a Mastiff,
but if you want to extend your family by admitting
another member, then your on your way to the most
incredulous journey of your life!
