Megan laughed hysterically as Brian stuck french fries in his nose and made a stupid face. He grinned at her and took them out, “Do you want these?” He asked with a smile
“Um, no thanks.” She said still laughing
“Are you going to eat that other hamburger?” Brian asked eyeing it hungrily
“You can have it if you want.”
“Cool, thanks.” He said taking a bite of it.
“Why do you think Nick got so mad about Stephanie going out with A.J.?”
Brian chewed for a minute and looked thoughtful, “Do you really want to know?”
Megan nodded slowly, “That would be why I asked.”
“Well,” Brian said sitting back and scratching his head, “I think…” He trailed off for a minute, “I think he likes her.”
Megan just looked at Brian, “He likes her?”
“I think he does, that or he’s just being stupid. Why?”
“I just couldn’t figure out what he was so mad about.”

The door opened abruptly, “WHAT DO YOU…..” Nick trailed off when he saw Stephanie she looked really nice, and he knew she had just gotten back from being out with A.J., “What do you want?”
“I wanted to talk to you.”
About what?”
Stephanie looked at him, “Can I come in? Or would you rather the whole floor hear about what happened?”
Nick pushed the door opened and Stephanie walked in. The room was a complete mess, “What have you been doing?”
Nick shrugged as he fell on the bed and turned on the TV, “Nothin.”
“Obliviously you were doing something.”
He didn’t answer, but just continued to look at the TV.
Stephanie walked over to the side of the bed and took the remote from him. Turning it off she asked, “Are you going to talk to me?”
Nick sat up and ran his hand through his hair, “About what?”
“Nick, what’s wrong?”
“Nothing’s wrong.”
“Oh yeah, that’s why when I get asked out you have a complete cow. No, I take that back, you didn’t have a cow, you had an elephant! Just tell me what the problem is.”
Nick sat there for a minute, not saying anything. Stephanie finally sat down next to him and waited for him to say something. After a minute he sighed, “Did you ever think that maybe I liked you?”
Stephanie didn’t say anything, she didn’t know what to say, or what to think. Surely he didn’t just saw what she thought he said, “What?”
“Well, I do. I like you a lot. I have ever since I first talked to you. Their was just something about you that I liked, that I couldn’t get away from.”
her mouth was moving but nothing was coming out, “I, well, I never thought…” he looked at her and she had no idea what to say. She stood up and turned to leave, “Nick, I can’t do this right now, I mean…I don’t know what I mean, but I have to think about this.”
Nick got up and turned her around, before she could say anything he kissed her. Nick looked at her, trying to read an expression on her face, any expression. Tears welled up in Stephanie eyes and she turned to go, “I need to think.”
Nick sat back down on the bed and put his face in his hands, he wasn’t sure if he had done the right thing. Most of all, he wanted to know what Stephanie was thinking.

Stephanie opened the door and shut it right behind her. She leaned against it and slid down, the tears were rolling down her face. She didn’t know why, but Nick’s kissing her had turned her world upside down. She liked A.J. and he had said he liked her, everything was fine and then Nick had to kiss her. She didn’t know how she felt about him anymore, and that scared her.

Kevin walked Laura to her apartment door, “ I hope you had a good time.”
“Oh, I did, I’m glad you asked me out.”
“I am too.”
They stood in an awkward silence for a minute, “May I kiss you?”
Laura smiled and nodded. Kevin bent down and kissed her. Laura melted and tried not to pass out. Kevin smiled at her, “Good night.”
“Good night.” She watched him turn to walk back to the elevator and then added, “I am coming to the shoot tomorrow.”
Kevin stopped, “You are?”
“Yes, if that’s okay with you. Stephanie invited me.”
Kevin grinned, “That would be wonderful.” Laura smiled and unlocked her door, and Kevin turned back to leave

Howie had gone to get ice and as he went back to his room saw Stephanie leave Nick’s room crying. He wondered what happened, and said as much to Brandi. “What do you mean she was crying?” Brandi asked
“She walked out of his room and she was crying.”
“Like sniffing crying or sobbing crying?”
“Like big tears, no sound crying.”
“Poor girl, I wonder what happened.”
“I do too.” Howie said wrapping his arms around her waist
