It was the day of the concert. Stephanie, aka Missy, came into her bedroom and dropped her books on her bed. It was about an hour and a half drive to Dallas and the concert started at 8:00, since they had backstage passes they planned to get there around 6:45,which meant they would have to leave in 30 minutes and Stephanie saw no sign of Megan. She decided that she would take a shower and headed toward the bathroom. She opened the door and let out a yelp. Megan stood in front of the sink in her bathrobe with green goop all over her face and a towel rapped around her head.
"What are you doing? You almost gave me a heart attack!" Stephanie said holding her heart.
"I'm getting ready, I must look simply breathtaking." Megan answered glancing into the mirror and checking her green goop.
"Trust me, if they saw you now they would be taking in plenty of breath." Stephanie said as she turned on the shower and retrieved a towel from the cabinet.
Megan rolled her eyes at her friend, "you are so not funny, you know that?"
Stephanie grinned, "I know, now get out while I take a shower."
Megan gave a little huff as she was pushed out of the bathroom. Stephanie took a quick shower, dressed in her own robe and towel came out of the bathroom to hear someone scream. She looked out of her room to see Jared holding his heart and staring at Megan with eyes as big a saucers.
"WHAT ARE YOU?!?" he yelled still breathing heavily from the scare that he had just encountered.
"Oh, shut up." Megan muttered as she closed the open door. Stephanie walked out of the room laughing,
"Hey Jar, what's up?"
"Ah, nothin. I was just goin to check and see if you girls had left yet." with that he looked at his watch, "you better get a move on if you're goin to be in Dallas by 6:45."
"You want to know if you can "borrow" the computer and cable tonight don't you?" Stephanie asked with a sideways grin.
Jared looked at her, "Now, Missy, do you really think that I am the type that would only want my best chic friend to leave only so I can watch cable and chat online?"
Stephanie laughed," Go ahead, I don't mind."
Jared grinned, "Thanks a million." with that he made himself comfortable on the couch and turned on the TV. Stephanie and Megan both went back into the bathroom to finish getting ready. Megan wiped all the green goop of her face while Stephanie tried to do something with her hair. In the end they turned out to look not so bad. They walked out of their room and looked at Jared, whose eyes were glued to some chic on the TV.
"So, how do we look?" Megan asked.
Jared gave a grunt before looking up. "you guys look good, now get out of here before you're late."
They grabbed their stuff and headed out the door with a reminder to Jared to keep things neat.

they arrived in Dallas on time, and got to the theater a little after 6:30.
"So, where do we go now?" Megan asked.
Stephanie looked around, "We go thru that door and that should take us backstage where we will wait to see the guys."
the walked thru the door and down a long hall before they came to a huge room with more than 30 girls waiting the arrival of the Backstreet Boys. Megan and Stephanie slipped to the back of the room and stood against a wall talking. All of a sudden several girls gave a little squeal. Stephanie and Megan looked up to see that Howie D. and Kevin had entered the room. They started saying hi to the girls and taking pictures, and giving autographs. Stephanie and Megan waited and in a minute Kevin made his way over to them.
"Hi, how ya doin?" he said holding out his hand.
They both shock it and Megan asked if he would sign the cover of her Millennium CD.
"Do you like the new album?" Kevin asked as he scribbled his name
"I luv it." Megan said with a little bit of a dazed expression.
Kevin looked at Stephanie, "I think it's great."
he gave them a smile and then turned to the girl that was standing next to Stephanie. In a few minutes A.J. entered the room and started making his rounds. He stopped and talked to them for a minute and then moved on.
"Miss, have you seen nick yet?" Megan asked looking around.
Stephanie looked around the room and then she spotted him.
"Omigosh!!" Megan breathed
"What?", Stephanie asked looking at her friend
"Look, he's looking around for you, let's go talk to him...no wait he's coming over here!!" Megan grabbed Stephanie's arm and then let go when Nick showed up in front of them.
"Hi." they both said hi and Megan asked him to sign her cover. Nick moved on to the next girl and Megan looked at Stephanie
"Why didn't you say anything?!?" she demanded.
Stephanie shrugged, "what if it's not him?"
"It has to be!!" Megan said quietly.
Stephanie just let it go when she heard a hello. She looked up to see Brian standing in front of them.
"How are you lovely ladies?"
Stephanie laughed "wonderful as usual."
Brian smiled, "Oh really?"
"Um, excuse me." came a voice and Stephanie turned to see Nick standing there looking down at her. "What did you just say?"
Stephanie looked at him for a minute, "What?"
Nick rubbed the back of his neck, "did you just say wonderful as usual?"
Stephanie smiled, "yes."
Nick looked at her for a second, "Missy?"
Stephanie grinned at him, "Yeah?"
"Omigosh!! Oh man, it is you!! Nick gave her a hug and they both started talking 65 miles an hour before Brian stopped them
"What are you guys talking about?"
Nick looked at Stephanie and then at Brian. "B-Rok, this is Missy...one of my friends on the net."
Brian looked at Stephanie for a minute. "you're Missy? I’ve heard allot about you." Brian said grinning at his friend.
Stephanie looked at them with a little confused look on her face.
Brian laughed, "All we've heard about for the past 2 weeks is Missy this, and Missy that."
Stephanie looked at Nick, "Oh really?"
Nick turned pink, "Maybe I talked about you a little."
the room had cleared out and now Howie, A.J. and Kevin came over to see what was goin on. Nick introduced Megan and Stephanie to the rest of the guys as they all grinned and said "Oh, you're Missy.."
They talked for a few minutes before someone came in to tell the guys they had 5 minutes before costume change.
"Hey, do you guys want to come back here afterwards? Maybe we can go do somethin?"
Megan and Stephanie looked at each other, "Yeah, that's fine." Stephanie said.
"okay, just come back here, they'll be a guy outside the door, but I’ll tell him to expect you just tell him you're here to see Frack."
Megan and Stephanie agreed and then made there way to their seats...not knowing what they were in for......
