Hello, I'm Drake Mariani, with Church Resource Ministries. When I have some time, I want to tell you how & why I became a Christian at 21. It's an exciting story (at least to me!!) I may not get around to it until one of you actually asks though! So, for now, here's the history of Memlok.

I completed Memlok in it's first translation in November 1989. I have been with CRM since 1982. CRM works with the local church in church planting, discipleship, leadership and small group development.

My background includes experiences with children as a clown, youth as a pastor and the business world in sales for 12 years. Gina & I were married in 1965, have 3 children, and are members of the First Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton, CA since 1980.

Memlok contains at least one verse in every chapter of the New Testament and Proverbs and at least one verse from every Old Testament book. The average card has about 1.5 verses on it.

By faith, I made 100 copies of the New American Standard Version in 1990. The need was clear, so the New International Version, King James, and New King James followed in `91, `93, and `95.

Currently, God has opened doors for approximately 60,000 to use it with kids from ages 2-92 in 50 states and 30 countries! Praise the Lord!! God is so believable!

Say The Books! and Say The Books! Overhead Masters with Reproduction Rights was completed in 1995.

Name That Book! Computer Game was developed by my friend, Terry Brennan in 1996.

PC Memlok It was only logical to develop Memlok for the computer. Whole classrooms can use one copy of the program. All members of a family can memorize different topics, translations and verses quite easily.
