Located on Route #8 in the west end of Doaktown, on the Miramichi River, this convenient and comfortable Motel offers an inexpensive and clean place to stay during your visit to Doaktown and the area attractions.

Whether you wish a room, housekeeping unit or would like to stop at our serviced Campground, you will discover Doaktown's friendly atmosphere and fresh air a pleasant experience. For health-minded types, the kids or those who "just want to unwind" we have an indoor swimming pool for your enjoyment!
While our "Guests", you will have an opportunity to see many area
attractions including the renowned
Miramichi Salmon Museum,
Central NB Woodman's Museum, Doak Historic Park, Nelson Hollow Bridge
(one of the oldest covered Bridges in NB), and, of course, the
"Glendella" home situated beside the Motel and Campground.
For Golf enthusiasts who would like to challenge one of the highest
rated courses in the Eastern provinces, the
Old Mill Pond Golf and Country Club is situated in the heart of
Doaktown.
Anglers wishing to test their skills against the famous
Atlantic Salmon may do so at our
nearby pond on the Miramichi river - well known for trophy-sized
fish. All necessary tackle and equipment is available locally.
In the East end of the Village, on Highway 8, you will find
"Bruce the Moose" - a lifesized statue
"guarding" the entrance to one of our finest restaurants. This
attraction is beautifully landscaped and features a small fish pond
and a Shriner's Wishing Well in addition to excellent photo
opportunities.
The Doaktown area also offers excellent Trails for
Hikers and Birdwatchers alike.
In the fall season, the magnificent colours of the local foliage
make your visit a memorable one!
In the winter, you can participate in Curling,
Snowmobiling, Snowshoeing
, Cross-Country Skiing or just have an
enjoyable "Get-a-Way" from the hustle and bustle
