Sterling Health Center

School History/Certifications:

Sterling Health Center was founded and began operation in 1991. Following expansion of our program in 1994, Sterling Health Center (SHC) was registered with the State of Texas as a Massage Therapy School and is licensed under the Texas Department of Health to offer a fully certified training program in massage therapy. In addition, we are one of the only schools to accept international students into the program.

Program Outline:

Our program offers great flexibility to the student in planning his/her course of study. S/he may attend full-time, part-time or course-by-course. All courses may be taken separately or in any combination based on the current school schedule. Transfer hours may be accepted pending approval by the state licensing board. An official transcript can be issued at the student's request as long as the student is in good standing. Successful completion of the 300 hour Massage Therapy Level 1 program qualifies the student to take the State Board exam. Passing this examination qualifies him/her to become a Registered Massage Therapist in the State of Texas and may go on to transfer these hours according to other state requirements.

Location:

The Center is a multifaceted facility providing wellness, rehabilitation, massage therapy and massage therapy education. It is located at 15070 Beltwood Parkway (one block south of Beltline) in Addison in North Dallas. The location is ideally situated among a large variety of restaurants and shopping areas. For those students coming from out of the city to study, there are numerous apartment complexes nearby. The school is also conveniently located one block from a major bus line.
