A rich source of information on Aboriginal topics. Includes a list of federal governmnet programs, current news, research publications and reports, culture and history, and Aboriginal supplier inventory, and even a "kid's stop".


Indian Claims Commission

An independent body set up 1991 to help First Nations and the federal government settle claims, The Commission provides an alternative to lengthy and costly court cases. Features information about specific claims cases, publications, and a description of the claims process.


City of Vancouver

Contains information about the city's plans for housing, health protection, cultural affairs, social programs, youth, etc. Also, links to other municipal government sites.

BC Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs

The Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs has primary responsibility for treaty negotiations in the Province of British Columbia. Through treaties and other negotiated agreements the ministry works with other agencies and First Nations to enhance self-reliance in aboriginal communities both on and off reserve.
