CANADIAN SHOW DOGS FOUNDATION (2003)

Statement of Purpose - "The Canadian Show Dogs Foundation raises funds to provide financial contributions to individual and/or organizations who share our objectives in supporting the needs of the purebred dog community in Canada."

Each year the recipients will be chosen by Canadian show dog fanciers via the 900 member CanadianShowDogs email list at YahooGroups. To be eligible for funding all projects must meet the criteria established by the Foundation. The money will be distributed through grants, scholarships, and other similar means. Our Foundation is still in its early developmental stage and is currently looking for volunteers to serve on the various Committees within the organization.

Guidelines for Foundation Membership are being finalized. Our membership dues are a nominal $10 per year for Individuals and $5.00 for Juniors (under 18 years). Membership application forms are now available from our Membership Coordinator or they can be printed off our website (link below).

Watch for our Childrens' Art Contest announcements! We will be looking for young artists to submit their artwork, featuring their favourite dog, for a chance to win some prizes. All winning art will be showcased on our Fundraising projects.
