I let Mommy know I was in her tummy before the doctor told her. The nurse told Mommy she was pregnant
on June 12, 1997. Mommy went on a vacation to Virginia Beach and told Daddy later.
Mommy moved in with a friend and Daddy and her talked once in a while. Then when Mommy was 5 months
pregnant with me, her and Daddy got back together. I was so happy. Mommy and Aunt Becky found out
in her 5 1/2 month that I was a little girl. I think Mommy knew all along.
She had named me early on. Mommy went to live with my Aunt Tracy after she found out I was a girl.
I love Aunt Tracy so much. She was so sweet to me and Mommy, she bought us anything we wanted.
Daddy came to visit when he could. Mommy and Daddy had great fun with me.
December 18, 1997, Mommy got really sick. She had a lot of fluid in her tummy with me. I thought it was neat.
I could swim. I did flips and Mommy and I talked all the time.
Mommy went to the hospital, Dr. Hewitt was a great lady. Dr. McKenna was Mommy's doctor. He told her I suffered
from Fetal Hydrops. It means Mommy would continue to fill with fluid if they didn't fix it. Mommy underwent a cordorintisis to
take fluid from around me to see what was causing this. They found nothing. I was perfectly healthy. Saturday, December 20,1997, mommy
had a amniocintisis to take some of the fluid away. It didn't last long. Daddy was with me and Mommy through all of this.
Dr. Hewitt told Mommy and Daddy they would deliver me on Monday December 22. Sunday morning, December 21, 1997, Mommy couldn't breath.
They found out that there was fluid in Mommy's heart and lungs. They decided to deliver me then. Mommy was
put on life support and I was born at 11:39 am by Dr. Kedar. I wanted so much to stay, but 3 hours and 41 minutes
later I went to play with God and my Grandma MaryAnn.
I miss Mommy and Daddy so much and I hope one day they can be friends again.
I miss my Aunt Tracy and Aunt Stacy too. I hope everyone is doing ok.
I have to go now..Uncle Justin wants to play. Bye Bye,
Love, Kerinne
