Tenpin Bowling has been around in Singapore since the 1960s. It has emerged from a leisure game to a sport discipline that is highly technical and complex in recent times.
Along with the development of the sport comes the complete athlete in terms of technical skills, mental routines, physical fitness, endurance, tactical knowledge and complete integrated understanding of the science of the sport.
Bowling in the 1990s promises to be even more challenging as newer technological advances means having to adapt to changing conditions of lane surface, oiling patterns and latest manufacturing technologies involving new surface materials and the physics in the construction and design of bowling balls.
