July 7, 2003:
"It was fucken great, dude!" screams Wurzer. The 4th of July party was off the hook. Method Blank performed about 8 songs including Kirks unforgetable drum solo. The band started out with a solid wave of musical emotion when they opened up with Set It Off. The rest of the show went great. "The only thing that went wrong was my fucken mic kept clipin'. But it was all good. We got an awsome response." says Wurzer. Zack sang his happy song which gave the crowd a level of laghfter. That song went straight into the rest of the show. The band finished of the show with their personal favorite "Insomniac". Then after that Kirk wrapped up with his magnificant drum solo. Mike Day put a lot of sweat into this show as well as the rest of them. Tantrum wrapped up the night with their awsome performance.
June 24, 2003:
Guess who's back! Zack is back to hold the Guitar for Method Blank. "Fuck...I thought we were going nowhere after we kicked out Aaron and Quincy. But in the end, we got what we payed our dues for. You know what I'm sayin', dude?" says Wurzer. But, hey, Zack'z not the only attraction added to Method Blank. Behind the Bass once again is the one and only Mike Day. "Damn, this guy kicks ass on the Bass. He is like the wiser man of this shit. He is making this band better. Sure, he may be like 15 years or whatever older than us. But is makes us stronger. He reminds me of the Wise chinese guy in Karate Kid. But he's not really old. Dude, this is gonna be the shit! I mean, We got Zack, who is probably the best guitarist we've ever had. Then we have Mike Day (Kirk's Uncle), who has had the most experience in music than we have. Then Kirk is a 'Drum God'. There are no words for Kirk. He's by far the best, man. Then there's me. I'm not gonna be self-concious, so I'll let everybody else say what they think. But us four combined, is gonna be off the hook. Yes, Method Blank is back into gear!" yells the excited Wurzer.
June 24, 2003:
The Blank has their new Guitarist (Zack) and their new Bassist (Mike D.). But, that's not all they've accomplished. Method Blank is set to perform live somewhere, at some farm on the 4th of July. This is no joke though. There's no faggot ass try outs or anything. THis is the real deal.
May 12, 2003:
Method Blank is scedualed for their first video shoot. "Wish" has been recorded and ready for a while. Now Wurzer exclaims, "Originally this was suposed to be a school project, but Kirk came up with the idea to make it into a video." Wurzer is set to direct the video like as if it were a movie. The music video contains young man being picked on in school, with the band at each scene of the young man's life. In between the shots you'll see Method Blank playing in a bar. By watching the video you'll notice that it's not really something that Wurzer would direct. "THe video just looks like a kid being picked on throught out the whole thing. It doesn't really have the horror that I'm mostly about. But you'll be suprised what I did with a twist at the end. I can't tell cause that would just spoil the fun in it, dude." says Wurzer. The video is set to shoot sometime this week. Wurzer's latest horror IN FEAR: CONTINUED is to be filmed this week also.
April 29, 2003:
Mike Wurzer (Vocals), has just finished editing his two first films with Darksky Studios (which is his studio). The two horrifying cult slashers (IN FEAR and ARE YOU SCARED) are about an hour or less long, but Wurzer says that they are worth it. They are due to be released very soon. Wurzer is currently working on numerous other horrors, such as, DARKHOLD (starring Kirk Sanchez as Satan, Cory Bost in a semi-leading role, and Mike Wurzer plays the partner of a loyal Detective who is fighting for his a five others' lives including Justin Aguilar [IN FEAR], Bost, Marcus Blakley [IN FEAR]), FAMILY BY THE CEMENTARY, THE CREEK, RISE OF THE EVIL, the anticipated I AM THE WOODS (which is set to star a fresh new cast with Kirk Sanchez as the killer named The Tree Gaurdian, Wurzer will play a short roll as a gas station attendant), and the long awaited IN FEAR CONTINUED which 'is not a sequel', but more of a continuence of the first IN FEAR. IN FEAR CONT stars a returning Cory Bost to lead 6 other friends (Miguel Carrizalas [MURDER IN SUNNY HILLS and THE CRAZY PETE PROJECT], Anthony Scrogham [HYDE and ARE YOU SCARED], Alyssa Isam, Mike Alden, Mark Stamps [ARE YOU SCARED], and Cristina O'Brien) into a slashing night against the original killer Trent (played by Mike Wurzer). Wurzer says he is not leaving the band out of the picture of the films, because the soundtracks will all feature new songs by Method Blank. "I'm never letting go of my two biggest passions of Music and Film. If anybody out there thinks that Writting, Directing, Starring, and having a band to add to that is too much and makes you a sellout, well then FUCK YOU! I'm never dropping the things I love most of all in life." exlaims Wurzer.
April 22, 2003:
Sorry to inform the people who liked Zack Sutton, who played kick ass lead guitar for the Method. But recently, Zack was kicked out of the band. "I didn't like the idea, but it had to be done, dude. I mean Zack was one of the fucken greatest guitarists out there, and that we ever had. But he had to be gone. Zack was a cool guy, but he didn't seem like he cared. Kirk took the advantage of kicking him out. I didn't want to be the asshole." says Wurzer. The band still continues on without Zack Sutton. They're working along very good. The band has just finished their first song for their FOIL EP. Method fans, stand back, FOIL EP heads your way within a month.
April 12, 2003:
There's something we have to get off our backs. FUCK YOU TONKA! You know how you fans were suposed to see us live at Tonka April 30th, fuck that. MEthod Blank got rejected. Is it cause we were too heavy for them? That's all that we can think of. Wait, maybe it was because a bunch of fucken preps from student council were the fucken judges. Everybody else who saw the tape of us trying out said that if they were the judges, we would have made it. "It's ok," says Wurzer, "Tonka is going to regret it whenever our CD comes out in a month or two. It's ok, Because I'm going to laugh in their selfish fake preppy little inocent faces and scream. I hope they feel like a pile of drivel that has no purpose in this life. I bet they never thought about how long we've been planning this. God I fucken hate Tonka!" We hope that the fans haven't lost their faith in us in any way. Because Method Blank is working on their album. It will be done within 6-7 weeks. Read Mike Wurzer's comments on the bottom of the screen.3-13-03:
For all you that have been waiting for Method Blank to finally make a studio album, you're in luck. Method Blank is in the process of making their studio debut "El Self-Tattered Boogyman Metaphorical". They've been talking about this album ever since their first self-made, five song release of "The Pretext contradiction EP". "The 'Boogyman Metaphorical' is much different from 'The Pretext contradiction EP' in many ways. First we have a different guitarist and bassist. Mike has changed his vocals and lyrics in thousands of different ways. But I think that the Method Blank sound has been changed so much, that we've progressed and found a sound that we all really like. The dramatic, explicit, emotional, and reality in MEthod Blank's style has been kept the same. The only thing that has really changed is the heaviness." says Drummer, Kirk Sanchez.
2-25-03:
Finally, you fans are able to see Method BLank performing. They are schedualed to perform two songs at Winnetonka High School. "Dude, It ain't my high school, why should I be nervous!" says Wurzer. We can't wait for it. If you are not able to see this event, then you're in luck, because this MEthod Blank event will be taped and sold. "Winnetonka, prepare to be knocked out of your fuckin' seats!" says Aaron Benette.
2-19-03:
Lead Singer, Mike Wurzer's film "In Fear" is now finished. So all of you that have been waiting, prepare to get a little taste of the creative mind of Mike Wurzer. This film has been in the making for months. "We started shooting in October and got it finished in October, but we had to retake some scenes in the past two months." exclaims Wurzer. This is not Mike Wurzer's first film. Remember he has made many. 'In Fear's grueling violence and teen slasher plots make this film an awsome underground film. If you want to see 'In Fear' you'll probably have to e-mail the Balnk at MeThoDBlanK@musician.net. Starring in the film: Cory Bost, Kirk Sanchez (MB's Drums), Donovan Ryan (Depthcharge's guitarist), Mike Wurzer himself, and Justin Agulair. These guy put up a kick ass performance in this kick ass thrill ride called 'IN FEAR'.
2-18-03:
Drum God, Kirk Sanchez has been working on two projects lately. In the fourth year of being devoted to Method Blank, he has also just been working with his uncle, Mike Day (additional bassist of Method BLank) on their heavy metal band Tantrum. They have already played a couple of shows. But if you're thinking that Kirk has quit the band... Then you're fuckin' stupid.
