Hello! I am a friend of the actual site owner. I was enlisted to aid in the creation of this site for my friend, who loves The Corrs very much. I agree with her! Their music is great! Their talent far exceeds simple classification in one genre. They are a tight-knit group of performers who work very well together. They have a wonderful stage presence combined with flawless playing—something that is pretty hard to come by. But, these things aren’t what brought me to enjoying The Corrs. No, it was probably the first time I listened to “Runaway,” or the first time I heard their rendition of traditional Irish folk music, that I realized, they are not just another band. No, they are something else—something more.
It is my hope that this site, which is intended to show a portion of my friend’s love for the group, will be read, enjoyed and related to by those who’ve already experienced the music and presence of The Corrs. It’s also my hope that at least one unsuspecting visitor to this site will come along and soon after join the ranks of fellow Corrs fans. After all, with each fan who contributes their love of the group, another may be born. Therefore, I will leave you now to explore these pages—go, now, in peace and, as they say in Ireland, “May the wind be always behind you.” God bless.
