Starting out in March of 2001 with Dan (vocals), Randy (drums), Kevin (guitar), Arron (guitar), and Ben (bass) Hope For Tomorrow started out as a pop-punk band originating from Philadelphia. They started out playing only a few shows until Ben left the band to pursue other side projects. It seemed the band was at a stand still. By this time it was summer, 2001. Finding a replacement took a little time but they soon found Jeff (bassist for I-95). He picked up the songs quick, but never played a show with Hope For Tomorrow . Differences between some of the band members led into Jeff’s relief of bass playing. By the end of the summer there was a complete change up in the band, Randy decided to play guitar, and Kevin picked up on drums. The two decided it was best for the band. Looking for another bass player again was no trouble. They asked Kenny (ex-bassist of Halfway There) to take the position, and he did. November 2001, Arron leaves the band because of differences in the band, and work, and school, etc… There was no time for a replacement, so there wasn’t one. They played there first show in almost a year at Frosty’s Saloon. After that they decided to record an album, which came out ok. The recording finished in April, 2002, and had 7 songs on it. Also in April Arron rejoined the band. With Arron back their style of music went from pop-punk, to hardcore-punk.
