OUR STORYThe band had a first jam session at a friend’s house with band members Ryan on drums, Mike on bass, Jon on lead and Chris on rhythm.Only Chris and Jon continued after that one session. They then found drummer John F, who has been neighbours and friends with Jon K since they we very young. In the jam sessions to come, "Cornered Performers" started to take shape, but was soon forgotten.Soon after John F joined the band, Good Enough got themselves their second bassist, Jessie. Jessie stayed in the band for a few practices but decided that he should move on because of musical differences. This is when John F got his friend Derek to fill his shoes as the bassist. We soon decided that Ken, a close friend of most members of the band, would be a better person to take his place. On the first practice that Ken attended, the band decided to try and fix-up what is now "Cornered Performers" within days, the band had given the song a completely new sound. Once they had the song perfected, they got a friend and neighbour Jordan to help them record a demo to try and find them a permanent singer and get the band moving. This is when Irish joins the band. His sister, Lisa, was looking at the site when she read that Good Enough was looking for a singer. So she asked Chris to send her the demo to give to her brother. When Irish heard the song, he knew he had to be a part of the band. Within a week, Good Enough had 3 more songs written complete with lyrics. They soon after played their first gig and got their first recording done, and they haven’t looked back since. |
