December 4th, 2002 Well well well, here we are in the beginning of December already with an update, hopefully I'll be on the ball more with the updates...well here's some news for you all. The past few weeks have been some of the most amazing and productive weeks. We are writing just some absolutly amazing material that will really make some heads bang. Talks about new covers for shows are in the works and we are in the process of getting our studio time together and shows set up. We have decided to drop two old songs, Preach and X, to make room for some more ..let's say..solid songs. In some more major news the band will most likely be changing our name. We have been DownFall for a while now and we have been talking about changing our name for about 6 months now. There's a lot of history behind the name and we feel that we are evolving into something that is seperate from our previous days and becoming a better stronger band. We FEEL like a new band, so we feel a new name will almost be necessary. We are coming to the final decision with a few really good names. Maybe we will put a post up and get your guy's input on the matter. Also the site is hopefully going to be going through some major changes, looks wise and address wise, you will all be notified when and if that happens so don't sweat it. Finally new pics are being taken by our photographer Tori so hopefully those will be up by the end of the month. November 13th,2002 It's been awhile since we have had an update but we have all been getting used to the new changes, Erich back in the band, I went back to school, and lack of rehearsal space. Well good news! We have found a space to rehearse at and last weekend we finished up a new song (very heavy) and have the basic structure of two more songs done. Hopefully those will get finished this weekend. We plan on recording a full cd this winter break with quality recordings of most of the stuff on the last cd plus four to ...well we'll say six songs. Who knows with us right? Well updates will be more frequent so keep checking back and continue to spread the word. Cheers -Adam-
September 12th, 2002 Erik "Erich" Anderson has officially rejoined Downfall. He filled in perfectly at the Battle at Rockhouse USA and decided that he wanted in again. In other news the band has the base for four or so new songs and they are sick and heavy. Get ready for a new CD release in early 2003 with some serious heavy shit.
August 31st, 2002 Adam Doescher has left Downfall for an indefinite amount of time possibly permanantly. Reasons being personal conflicts with Andy. Downfall has no hard feelings and wish him the best in his musical future. The band will still be playing shows. Former bassist Erich Anderson will be filling in for the time being. If you are a bass player or know a bass player looking for a band drop us an email.
August 25th, 2002 Ok lots of news. Today we taped for a show called the Chicago Profile. It should be on sometime next month. We dont have a lot of info at the present time but we will be getting more later. As for the two prospects it did not work out. However we are looking for a vocalist so please if you are a vocalist or know one email us about joining Downfall.
