They also have 41 great photo's of Linkin Park live so go check them out! -Rob November-20-2000 Chester's new tatoo is of the soldier carrying the flag with wings, like on the coverart of the album. It is supposedly on his calf. A pictures will be available VERY soon. Also..the band members have been rumored to be sick, so..don't be sticking your face in front of them and inhaling deeply. Then again if you are one of those people who would pride yourself on getting sick from Linkin Park..by all means..inhale baby! -Tom November-20-2000 Linkin Park will be appearing on the Conan O'Brien show tentively on December 19th. That sucks for me cuz that was the day they were supposed to come to my town. But oh well I guess. Our contest is basically over. Here is what I'm going to do. I'm going to set it up so that you can all read the contest entries, and then you can vote. In order to keep things somewhat fair, it's not going to be a poll. Your going to email me what you think should win. The winners will be announced sometime next week. There will be a Linkin Park interview at 102.1 the edge in toronto at 6pm tuesday november 28th. Linkin Park will be appearing on Muchmusic on November 28th at 4:10 EST/1:30 PST for an interview Keep voting people. Seriously. Linkin Park is nearly on TRL! November-16-2000Chester is getting a new Tattoo. What is it of? I dont know. Where did he get it? I don't know. When will we know? As soon as someone gets their ass out there at the next show, finds that out, and takes us some pics! Remember people this is a fansite, and we really do appreciate getting pictures. -Tom November-15-2000 First and foremost I would like to apologize for my lack up being here and updating. My computer totally crashed and I lost a ton of stuff. Everything that I have been able to do has been through my sisters little computer. The good news is that I'm back and able to do some more work on the site and keeping you guys informed. The bad news is that I lost all the fan art that I was goign to put up. I'm so sorry people, but it wasn't my fault my computer died. So if anyone sent in fan art, please send it again. I'm sorry. There are a lot of new fan interpretations up. Go read 'em! And if anyone is still interested in joining up in our contest please send stuff to me! You can read about the contest in the contest section. It's going to end next week, so get your stuff in ASAP! -Tom November-12-2000 Linkin Park has written a holiday song titled "My December". It is on the KROK Christmas Compilation cd. The song is apparently "slow and melodic" and the lyrics supposedly describes the singers' memories of their decembers. This is for all the CANADIAN FANS out there. The album will be hitting stores on Teusday the 14th so go pick it up and be amazed! -Rob November-11-2000 Yet more fan interpretations are up. Go check 'em out. Linkin Park is rumored to have been added to the upcoming Sno-Core tour that kicks off January 16th. Some other bands that are tentatively set to be a part of this tour are: Kittie (hed)p.e. Taproot Spineshank Boy Hits Car However the band members of Linkin Park have stated that they intend to tour with Taproot during January. So this could mean several things. Perhaps that means that they will tour with Taproot before Sno-Core and then join Sno-Core tour. Or they could tour with Taproot after Sno-Core. Then again there is the possibility that neither will be in Sno-Core or they don't tour together. It's just to damn early to tell. Let's stop worrying about that far down the line and start to find ways to get to the Linkin Park shows that are coming up soon with either P.O.D or Papa Roach! Get out there and show some support!! November-9-2000The following information has come from a very trustworthy source so there is an almost 100% chance that it's true, but keep in mind that this hasn't been completely confirmed by me, so we don't know for sure. I just thought it was good enough that you all needed to hear it. As many of you know on their last tour with KMK, Linkin Park had a bassist that was touring with them. His name was Scott. We also knew that he was not a part of the band, he was just hired to tour with them for a few months. Then they joined up on a new tour with P.O.D. This time they have had a guy named Phoenix touring with them and playing bass. However...what was not commonly known was that Phoenix is an old old member of the band. Back in the day when Linkin Park was known as Xero, and Chester wasn't even in the band, it was a guy named Mark Wakefield (who now manages bands such as Taproot). Well apparently Phoenix dropped out of the band for a while due to other commitements and personal priorities. But he is back now in full swing and is supposedly a permanent member of the band. This means that Linkin Park now has a bassist (for all you people who keep asking). Pretty damn kewl eh? This now raises the following question..DOES THAT MEAN YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE NEW POSTERS WITH THE UPDATED BAND MEMBERS ON THEM??!! Us, the fans....want more merchandise :-) -Tom November-9-2000 Chester has finally shaved his head completely bald. No more devin horns or bleached short hair or anything. Just...bald. Apparently when "A Cure For The Itch" was recorded, Joe made all the vinyls himself. He took a bunch of sounds and different elements and put them on the vinyls and then scratched it all out. Basically that entire song was done by his own hands. Damn man....these guys are like...Superhero's of the music industry. Now we all know that Sera who got the Tattoo on her back is a kick ass girl. But did you know that she drove 44 hours to one of LPs shows, and then drove even longer to see them again in Cali? People..give it up for such a kick ass chick. And one last thing. People who have been sending in contest entrys, interpretations, or fan art..please be patient. I'm sooo busy lately I dont have time to get on computer. But please keep 'em coming. November-8-2000Linkin Park have stated that they ARE in fact going to headline a tour in January. They also mentioned that they would like to get Taproot to open for them. Taproot's manager Mark used to sing for Linkin Park years back. So this may be very possible. Given this new information I'm going to put the poll for the opening bands up tonight, since now the only thing it would be used for is choosing a second band if the Taproot thing falls through. -Tom November-7-2000 I added Pimp Rock Palaces review of "Hybrid Theory". I also wanted to say that Cold is one kick ass band. Check 'em out. Also...please keep sending in your contest entries, band suggestions, and fan interpretations. I just got about 30 new live pictures of the band, and they will be up very soon. Sometime tonight after I go to school. We are getting good feedback on the "Opening Acts Suggestions". By this time next week I will probably make a poll with the most frequently suggested bands. That is of course if you people all continue to send in suggestions. I dont care how many. You can all send in 20 f'n suggestions if you feel like it. Just email me. However the contest isn't getting as good as feedback as the opening act thing is. Please people go and read the contest section, and get yourself hooked up. But also remember that when you send me a contest entry that you send me you email, name, address. If you have already sent in a contest entry, please send me that information now, cuz I deleted all your emails on accident. But to all those who haven't entered, DO! It's pretty damn easy!
