Rune was the one in the band that first got into music (except Reidars pianolessons), this despite that he played the recorder (flute) so lousy that he had to have extra tuition to his fathers frustration. (haha) This boys musical career took a dramatic fall when he was kicked out of his first band, "Suicide and the Toasters", because he wasn't good enough to play the guitar. That made him start playing the bassguitar, and his life suddenly consisted of bass, bass and even some more bass. He started in several other bands as time went by. First in "Bullet" with Reidar, from then on to "Avkom" and"Acme" (w/Reidar), "Misanthropic Anthropoids" (also w/Reidar), "MaleDog" (w/Frank), and in the end "Frank Benjaminsens Quartet"/"Fluent Interplay". He is heavily influenced by close studies by opposites poles such as Sting, Flea and Timothy Schmidt. This has lead to a wide varieties of techniques, which he masters without any difficulties. Rune studies economics at Hibo in Bodø.
