THE NATIONAL BLACK BUSINESS TRADE ASSOCIATION

The mission of the National Black Business Trade Association is to provide innovative, proactive, educational business information and resources, to serve the free enterprise system, to help African American business owners and entrepreneurs create and conserve wealth, all within a context of high moral and ethical values.
We believe that strengthening and multiplying Black businesses will go a long way toward the reversal of many of the negative trends affecting our community and put into effect positive changes in the economic and social fabric of our urban communities in particular, and the nation in general.
If we work together in partnership with Fortune 500 companies, other Black organizations, the public and private sectors to create an environment that fosters Black business development through, sharing information, capital accumulation and education, we will create stronger Black businesses that will hire more people and make a bigger contribution across the board.
OUR GOALS
To encourage the support and patronage of Black businesses.
To promote the development of Black businesses and entrepreneurship.
To promote increased access to business opportunities
and capital for Black businesses.
To promote the increased development and implementation of quality processes
and systems within and for Black businesses.
To foster the sharing of information, viable programs and initatives
that will positively impact Black businesses.
To increase the awareness of business ownership
as a viable alternative to job seeking for Black youth.
