Dear all,
At long last I have fianlly arrived at my destination, and Vancouver is just spectacular. It is hot and green and lovely.
I had a great time in New Zealand, very relaxing with my two aunts pouring me champagne at lunch on my first day. Trouble leaving though as they didn't want to let me on the plane because they didn't believe my visa was a visa. As you can tell I eventually got on (having had my bags "randomly" searched twice - I must look devious or something, honestly.
Got through LA okay, and to be honest not much has happened since. The sun doesn't set until 9pm which is great and I've found a couple of bars already - Canadian beer rocks!
Have moved into residence but there's no-one else there at the moment so it's a bit lonely but I'm sure I'll get over that. Going on an international students boat cruise tonight and that's about it.
Will write more when I get a faster computer (need a student card to access the library ones and I cant get that until Tuesday). Take care!
