Ben and Drew
Downstairs at the TPAC, Ben Patch (Lucentio/Cambio) leans on Drew Kallen (Tranio/Lucentio.) Ben Patch's sword fight scene in Act V was quite a feat of athleticism. While Drew Kallen is a master of voices.

Bianca and Lucentio
Kim Parmon costumed as Bianca and Ben Patch as Cambio kinda pose for Master Thespian. Kim Parmon has those naturally full and oh-so-soft, luscious lips (hell, she uses one tube of lipstick every performance) that too many Hollywood actresses attempt to emulate with Gortex implants. Their indifferent countenances may be explained by the (possible) fact, that by this time in the production, I had permanently pissed both of them off. Go figure!

Biondello and Curtis
High-schooler's Kyle Hallstrom (Biondello) and Landon Cornett (Curtis) ham it up on the basement stairs. These two had to perform the prop scene changes and they were sometimes the funniest part of the show. Of course not all my fellow actors agreed on this insisting that they 'speed it up!'

Gremio and Baptista
Gremio (Robert Strupp) poses in the carpentry room off stage with Baptista (Lyman Akers.) Your Master Thespian was promised the part of Baptista months prior, but Lyman did such a good job in my stead I'm glad he was Baptista. |

Petruchio and Grumio
Matthew Proschold (Petruchio) and Peter Good (Grumio) frown down on Master Thespian. These two did such a great job that it's sad more people didn't come to our performances. Nights when Grumio and Petruchio were 'on' and the audience didn't laugh, I knew we had, as Jay Leno says, "A tough crowd." |
| Hortensio
Peter Covitz, here as Litio, strings his guitar. Being the consummate actor, Peter does actually play the guitar. I've been in two productions with Pete 'Mystery Man' Covitz and I know more about Hitler's last hours in the bunker than I do of Pete.
