Ben, Kim and Kyl

What happens when a flash photo is taken in complete darkness? Everyone's eyes light up like they are 'creatures of the night.' I think it's kind of neat. Relaxing between rehearsals, Ben Patch is throwing around Kim Parmon while we wonder where exactly Kyl Hallstrom hands are. They are wardrobed for the short sketch by David Ives titled Words, Words, Words, where three monkeys, Milton, Kafka and Swift, are expected to eventually type out Shakespeare's works.

Hamlet & Hal:
Sons and Princes

Scott Campbell (left - playing Hamlet) holds the hand of Ben Patch (Hal) in the sketch written by James K. Barnard. Drew Kallen (chorus & Falstaff) stands to the right. And way in the back, you can see Ashley J. Barnard who portrays Ophelia and Lady Percy. Your Master Thespian was also in this sketch, as King Henry IV with only twelve lines, of which I managed to screw up at least one or two every performance.

Three Monkeys, Three Typewriters

A scene from Words, Words, Words, by David Ives. Kyl Hallstrom (Swift), Ben Patch (Milton) and Kim Parmon (Kafka) as three monkeys, ponder why, given enough time, they are presumed by their scientist/keeper to be capable of typing out the works of William Shakespeare. If you look closely, you can see that Kim has her pudgy little tounge sticking out and that, in actuality, there are no typewriters.

Three Monkeys, Four Glowing Eyes, Two Cheeks

Outfitted for Words, Words, Words Kyl, Kim and Ben goof off. Since it was very dark when I took this photo, I did not realize Kim's derriere would be so visible. But, what the hell, I don't mind. Looking at the enlarged photo it appears Kyl is tossing at the camera a YoYo the size of a table top.

The Actor's Nightmare

by Christopher Durang

Tobianne Paul (Sarah Siddons) Drew Kallen (George Spelvin) and, with clipboard, Kim Parmon (Meg) pose for the Master. The Actor's Nightmare by Christopher Durang, was as advertised, a nightmare of a thespian showing up at the theater not knowing the lines, the characters or the play involved . . . and not being an 'actor' but an accountant.

Ben and Ashley, costumed for Hamlet and Hal: Sons and Princes stand outside the theater building. Ben is showing Ashley how he can rotate his eyes 360 degrees inside their sockets.
