Carrie has long been interested in cats with extra toes (polydactyl) and has wanted a Siamese since she was doing some pet sitting for her then boss's Siamese cats. Well, Qwill is a half Siamese polydactyl that came our way just when we wanted a companion for Weevil to keep him too occupied from annoying the other cats. But he's an even bigger brat.

Lightning was a stray Carrie's mom took in as a puppy. We don't know how old she is, but was quite spoiled when we had to take her in because my mother-in-law passed away. Unfortunately Miriam took a disliking to her and she had to go to the vet for an operation.She's in a new home now.Miriam wa Lightning o kougekishimashita. A neighbor found this turtle in her front yard. Turtles like this are not native to Arizona, so we took him in. The vet's has been treating him for a couple of infections, but he's otherwise healthy and quite lively.

Our friend Dot has found a good home for him, so last August he left us.
