A Survivor of a Loved ones Suicide.
"The mention of his name,
May bring tears to my eyes,
But it never fails to bring
Music to my ears.
If you are really my friend,
Let me hear
the beautiful music of his name,
It soothes my broken heart
and sings to my soul."

Traces...
The Teardrop holds my world
in it's crystallized center.
My fears and years of worrying
nourish it's saline depths.
The reflection of yesterday
traces down my cheek.

Looking back, on the memory of
the dance we shared,
beneath the stars above.
For a moment, all the world was right.
How could I have known,
that you'd ever say good-bye.
And now, Im glad I didnt know
The way it all would end,
the way it all would go.
Our lives are better left to chance,
I could have missed the pain,
but I'd of had to miss the dance.
Holdong you,
I held everything.
For a moment, wasn't I the king
If I'd only known,
how the king would fall,
who's to say,
you know I might have changed it all.
Im glad I didnt know,
The way it all would end,
the way it all would go,
Our lives are better left to chance,
I could have missed the pain
but I'd of had to miss the dance.
Yes my life, It's better left to chance,
I could have missed the pain,
But I'd of had to miss the dance.

All The Things I Miss About You
It's easy to love someone when they make you happy.
It's harder to love someone when they make you sad.
I miss your beautiful face
I miss your smile
I miss your hazel eyes
I miss your wiggly nose
I miss your perfect body
I miss your chicken legs
I miss your little toes
I miss the way you laugh at my jokes
I miss the way you cry on my shoulder
I miss the way you lay when your sleeping
I miss the way you whine when im tickling you
I miss the way you'r crabby in the morning
I miss talking to you all night
I miss telling the bed bugs not to bite
I miss how beautiful you are
I miss how much you loved me
I miss you.

If I had Never Met You
If I had never met you,
I wouldn't like you,
If I didn't like you,
I wouldn't love you,
If i didn't love you,
I wouldn't miss you,
But I did
I do
And I will.
Don't judge me for how I left this world,
Remember the love I gave.
A lot of grief will follow me,
For the decision that I made.
Changes appear in everyones life,
Some good, Some bad.
The one I chose for myself,
Made everyone very sad.
But in time, memories will heal the hurt of hearts,
And my presence will be felt by all with an inner peace.
Remember me when the sun is bright, and laughter fills the air.
A moonlit night and a whisper of wind,
Will tell you I am there.
Dont look down on my family,
Or fill thier hearts with blame,
For my leaving them without good-byes
They will never be the same.
If I could go back in time,
I'd say a last good-bye,
I'd tell them to look to tomorrow,
And for me.......do not cry!

He will always be remembered
As a man both strong and good,
Who gave his best for others
And did the best he could.
He will always be remembered
For all the joy he brought
As a man who made a difference
And a man who cared a lot.
Now as we remember
The kind of caring ways
Shane brought such happiness
Into so many days.
May it bring some consolation
To remember
How many times
Shane found great happiness in us.
He will always be remembered
Because a man like that you see
Will be in the hearts of us
For all eternity.

Sleep is my refuge,
You meet me there
We kiss, We hug,
No worries, cares, fears.
As I drift off,
Visions of us I see.
There you are my love,
We're together, as it should be.
I forget what happend,
We're happy once more.
Our future is bright again,
No dread knocking at the door.
Slowly light trickles in,
My eyes look all around,
The start of a new day.
Farwell for now, My love,
Just for a few hours.
I hold on to the feelings,
Not too long from now love,
Meet me in my dreams.

I can't describe the pain,
Someone ripped my insides out,
And tried to put them back in again.
That might be close to it,
But really not even there.
Who ever took you away,
Didn't even care.
Hey wait, you did!
It was at your hand you died,
Then who is to blame for this?
Who do I curse? Who gets the shame?
Me of course, It has to be.
Something I did, or didn't do,
There is no sense to be made,
No one can justify.
A young, healthy, happy man,
Why would he even play with a gun?
Unless he meant to do it?
But that can not be fathomed.
Something mishapen inside,
His brain on the fritz,
Some sort of explination?
Sounds to me like a curse.
Everyone says Im so sorry,
But I don't hear it from you!
Your voice is silent now,
Otherwise I'm sure I would.
No second chances,
The stakes were way too high,
I can't believe you gambled anyway,
You didn't even say good-bye.
In an instant it was done,
One single shot, it's over.
Still when I think back,
It isnt really happening.
That isn't you with a gun,
Me screaming, calling 911,
Isn't you bleeding on the floor,
Me being led out the door.....
I can't see you anymore!!!
