History Of Dragons

This is the History of Dragons.

The First Part Is an area of me getting my Interest in Dragons

The Second Part is a History Of MY Dragon Personality

My Interest In Dragons Begins...

A couple of years ago, I got a cool strategy game called War2. In this game, you could control Dragons to fight with.

I soon got into playing only with the Dragons. I later picked up a book to read upon how Dragons acted throughout their life. This book is called Dealing With Dragons, and is written by Patricia C. Wrede.
I read it cover to cover in one day, even though it was some hefty 250 pages! She had made several other books in her series, Talking to Dragons, and a few others I have forgotten about, sorry.

Anyways, I read evey single book she wrote on Dragons, and soon developed a more eager interest to know about them. I looked upon the Web as this source. Here, I found many other pages that I was able to read and learn even more about Dragons. What they talked like, how they spoke, how long they lived, there different color variations, and where they live. I soon had seen just about every page when I saw an ad from Angelfire for free web pages. That peaked my couriosity and I just went for a look. I soon created my main web page. I then took it upon myself to scrounge up several images, as you can see on my main page. I then had to painstakeingly figure out how to properly upload, activiate, and put the images on my web page. I then talked to my friend,Short2, who has his ownHome page. He walked me through the process of setting up my pages here at Angelfire.

The History Of Myself As a Dragon.

First of all, let me say this. This is my Human counterpart typing this up for me, and I thank him for that. I will continue now.

The history of me being a Dragon starts 2,000 years ago in a deep ice cavern. As soon as I hatched, I crawled towards the bright light on the Planet Pern. As I finally got outside, I saw lushiuos green plants and trees, along with several crisp looking lakes with adult dragons wading around in them.

I saw my other hatchlings come up, and we started to cry for food. Soon enough, some was dropped right on my head, and I gobbled it down intensely. Three years later I was able to feed myself small animals and giant bugs. I lived like this for another 100 years, until I was old enough to go out on my own.

After searching for a few days, I found a curious little hole in the bottom of the Great Kazul Lake. As I ventured closer, I started to be sucked in the little inky bit of blackness. I thought I was going to drown, so I started screaming for all I was worth. I was sucked in after about ten seconds, and popped out in the higher atmospheres of this planet. As I looked down, I saw the terrible creatures that dwelled on this pitiful planet. We had come in contact with them before. They were called....Humans.

I started to glide to the nearest mountian, looking for shelter as I knew I could not go back to my home planet. I found a little cave in the area of Flagstaff. I stayed there eating Coyotes and occaisonoly small children(hey, what did I know at the time?). Lick lick, smack. ]B=8) Soon after word spread of a man eating dragon, those pesky humans gathered up several delicious search parties to try and hunt this "man-eater" down.

Four days, I believe, I ecountered a pack of Dragons on the move, seeing that they were being hunted by the humans. I caught up with them and asked several annoying questions, that should have been quite obvious. Later, when we excaped, they started their hunt and said I could come along if I wanted(what did I know, it was free food). I saw a group of children playing in a nearby field, and told them that would make a nice lunch. They then stared ay me stupidified. One of them was finally able to choke out the question if I had been eating humans. I megerly addmitted it, and they went about complaining and dictating how I was playing with the delicat relationship between humans and Dragons. It was then that I was taught how to hunt correctly, when to and not to hunt, and who or what to hunt.

I soon became one of their fastest dragons, only catching food, that is. They soon sent me alone to go and bring back the food. I was gone a half of an hour at most. My relationship with these Dragons grew more and more, untill finally one day they asked me to become part of their clan. I was shocked, mainly because it is extremely hard to become part of another clan if you are a total stranger. I accepted the offer and thanked them for their kindness. We soon moved to another area , but in the Colarado area, where it is nice and cool.

A few years later, some tourists had heard a story about a child seeing several Dragons on a cliff. They were the annoying and curious kind that likes to go on such fantasy trips. I soon spotted there little bodies scalling the side of our cliff that I was sleeping on{hey, I was tired that day). I immediately called on the others, and showed them where they were. We decided that the best thing to do is to leave the area, and in the meantime, fly up the cliff a few thousand more feet. At that altitude, we had to slow down because we could not breath as easily.

Those tourists finally got tired and drove back down to their lodge. We decided it wasn't safe to stay here any longer and started on our long search for a new home. The older one of the Dragons, who is kalled Cimorone, suggests asking her cousin, since he has been around for a few hundred years, and I mean in THIS VERY SPOT.

As we finally arived, we found the tempting smell of bacon cooking. Man!, we were soooo hungry. Drescel(Manson's cousin), offered us some. We gobbled down our little portions them began pounding him with questions, like, "where is the best place to stay for a while"and "I'm tired so weres the closest place to stay?". He eventually got fed up with us and told us we could stay with him for a while. YIPEEE!

Later that night we had some cooked pig, yummy. The next morning it was quite humid, so it was easier to fly at this high altitude. We searched for a place to stay for quite a few days, until the oldest one found a mid-sized cavern that goes about one mile into the Earth. We looked around and definitely decided we were going to spend quite a few years here.

Over the next few days, we carried our belongings across the valley to our new cave, and started learning the routes to and from the back of the the cave for an emergencey, which was where our spells were kept. We soon settled in our new home, and grew rather attched at the lovely view you could see from the mouth of the cave, except for the polution which was tho the south, which looked like on dry hot days, a big ball of brown smoke erupting, destroying the poor creatures. Allthough the Humans are a little intelligent, they do very little about the smog and just ignore it. On windy days, though, the polution gets carried over to use, and we cough and sneeze and throw fits, all because we can't stand the garbage Humans can. We are a much neater and cleaner than most Humans.

We decided to visit Drescel again, and thank him for the time that we stayed at his cavern, and brought over gifts as part of our thanks. We enjoyed talking through the night, telling tales of our battles, captures, and fake princesess, just to see who could fool the others the most.

I, of course, wasn't the winner.:) After a few more minutes just chatting and eating, I wondered back to my cave and fell asleep.

The next morning, I met up with Drescel and the others to see whats up, and there response was usual, the ceiling of a dark cave.
