Chapter 2

After all the guys had left, Nick and I quietly excused ourselves up to Nick's bedroom. "Nick, did you really mean it when you said that getting married was a possibility?"

"Oh, you heard that," he asked looking down.

"Well, yeah I heard it, but did you really mean it."

"Of course, I did Mandy, I love you, didn't you mean what you said?"

I just sat there numb, unable to move. I meant what I said but… Before I could finish my thought I was interrupted by the soft touch of Nick's hand caressing my cheek.

"Didn't you mean what you said?" he asked again, in an almost seductive voice. Only this time he pulled me close to him, so close I felt his breath on mine. He soon rested his lips on mine. I answered him with an "Uh huh," never breaking the kiss.

Soon the kiss became very deep and intense, causing me to fall back onto his bed. I wrapped my arms around his neck only making the kiss even deeper. We were totally making out, if that's what you wanna call it, I myself thought it was, well, nevermind what I thought, but out of all the time I had known Nick this was the most passionate moment we had ever shared. But soon, it was all disturbed by Aaron swinging open the bedroom door.

Nick immeditly pulled away, leaving us both breathless! "Uhhhhh…. Aaron hi, what… what do you need?" Nick asked, blushing slightly at what his eleven-year-old brother had just witnessed.

"Nothing," Aaron quickly replied running out of the room.

"Wow, that was embarrassing," I commented as both Nick and I sat there in somewhat of a daze.

"Yeah, you can say that again." "

"You know Nick, maybe I should go, it's getting late."

"Can't you just stay here tonight, you shouldn't be driving back at this hour anyway?"

"Well… I dunno Nick, you do have a concert tomorrow, and you'll have to leave early in the morning, and I really don't want to intrude."

"Oh, will you shut up, who cares if I have a concert, your stayin tonight, and that's that," Nick replied leaning down and giving me a very passionate kiss, then began leaving a trail of kisses down my neck. I didn't want to pull away, but I really didn't want to make the same mistake twice.

"Nick," I asked. "Is the door locked?" I questioned still breathing heavily.

"Yeah." He went back to kissing my neck then moved his hands down to my shirt and started unbuttoning my shirt.

"Nick, don't, not now," I stated.

"Oh Mandy, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that, man I'm so stupid," he rambled on smacking himself in the head.

"Nick, don't be sorry, I just don' feel right, I mean your parents are home and after what just happened I don't want to take any chances."

"Okay, but is it still okay if I do this," he said one again leaning down, I savored the taste of his lips against mine.

"Maaaaaaannnnnnddddddyyyy, phonnnnnneeeeeeee," came a voice from downstairs.

"Argh, I growled as I got up off Nick's bed.
