Chapter 3

I made my way down (or at least tried to make it down) the steps of the Carter's house with Nick's arms wrapped around my waist from behind. "Hello," I giggled into the receiver.

"Hey when…" Megan began but was cut off.

"Oh, hey Megan can you hold on a sec, I quickly covered the receiver with the palm of my hand.

"Nick stop," I giggled once again as Nick kept kissing my neck, I looked around the room, and I spotted Mr. and Mrs. Carter, practically staring at the two of us.

"Nick, your parents are in the room," I said in a hushed tone.

He slowly pulled away and glanced at his parents, "Hi Mom, Hi Dad, how you doin, by the way Mandy's stayin over." Nick said looking a little embarrassed that he never noticed the presence of his parents.

"That's Fine, You know your welcome here anytime." Mr. Carter replied.

"Thanks Mr. C. I said and went back to my phone call. "Hey Megan, whattcha need?"

"Oh, I just wanted to know when you were gonna be home… but I think I already know the answer to that," she said with a bit of curiosity in her voice.

"Well, yeah I probably won't be back till tomorrow night."

"Geez Mandy, are you to gonna be getting it on the WHOLE time?"

"MEGAN," I screamed then I looked around the room and noticed everyone's eyes were on me. "Listen Megan, I gotta go, ok," I finished.

"But…" I hung up the phone before she could protest any longer.

Nick could here every word of the conversation, and was grinning widely. "So, what is the answer to that question?" Nick asked.

I turned around and gave him a quick but powerful jab in the stomach with my elbow.

"Ouch, what was that for?"

I turned back around to face Nick and gave him a warning look, and believe me, it shut him up REAL fast.

"G'night," we both said to his parent's, and made our way upstairs, hand in hand.
