Use Claris Home Page to Create a Simple Web Page
#1 Start Claris Home Page
#2 Open a new Web Page
#3 Creating a Title for Your Web Page
Note: Claris Home Page prompts you to give your home page a title
the first time you save the document. The title appears at the top of most
browsers windows. The words that appear in the title are used in searches
by many internet search engines. If it is important that viewers are able
to find your web page via key-word searches, make sure that the title includes
words your viewers are most likely to use when doing a key-word search.
Choose Document Options from the Edit menu.
Choose Basic from the pop-up menu or click the Basic tab.
Enter the title in the Document Title text box.
Click on ok.
#4 Save a Web Page
Choose Save from the File Menu.
In the dialog box type the title of the page (this appears at the top
of the Window box on your Web page).
Click on ok .
You are now asked for a file name. Type in index.htm in the Save
File As text box.
Choose New folder and name it your last name.
Click on Save.
