Begin:
An artist, an art historian, an art critic and the unknown painting team up as detectives. Together you will look for clues and discuss the puzzles to solve the mystery.
The detectives must begin by looking for clues about the other paintings in the room. You are in a room with paintings by artists who exhibited works in the 1913 Armory Show.
The Armory Show was a close up look at the sources of modernism, from El Greco (el greh-koh) and Goya (goy-ah) to Seurat (suh-rah), Van Gogh (vahn go), Gauguin (go-gen), and Cezanne (say-zahn).
Find out about each painting and discuss the puzzles or problems. At the end of each section click the talk to the painting button to complete the section. The paintings will give you clues about the mystery painting.
