Well, obviously my name is Jacqui. I’m currently 19 years old and I live in North Eastern USA with my mother and younger sister. I graduated in June 2003 from high school and now attend a community college. I'm double-majoring in Library Science and Desktop Publishing.
I have many hobbies, some of which include playing the drums, gardening, playing with my guinea pigs, traditional/digital photography, painting, drawing, surfing the web, listening to music, reading, writing poetry and stories, talking with my friends and family, eating, and sleeping (the poor man’s entertainment.)
Music has greatly influenced my ideas in the graphics and art world. My favorite bands are: Brand New,Dashboard Confessional, Weezer, Pearl Jam, Audioslave, Seether, System of a Down, Staind, Chevelle, The White Stripes, The Offspring, Nirvana, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Nickelback, 311, and 3 Doors Down. I have other faves, but the list would fill the page.
Movies and books also influence my art. I like to read: The Bell Jar, The Joy Luck Club, anything Shakespeare, The Hours, Mrs. Dalloway, The Virgin Suicides, Prozac Nation, The Handmaid’s Tale, Misery, Mommie Dearest, Sphere, Electroboy, The Dead Zone, anything by Patricia Cornwell, Cut, The Luckiest Girl in the World, Speak, and Catalyst. I like to watch: The Hours, Save the Last Dance, Girl, Interrupted, Shawshank Redemption, The 6th Sense, A Beautiful Mind, G.I. Jane, Misery, School of Rock, Freaky Friday, Hook, E.T., Deep Impact, Dante’s Inferno, Bruce Almighty, What Dreams May Come, Hunger Point, Mrs. Doubtfire, Jack, Spiderman, Psycho, Roman Holiday, Harriet the Spy, Liar, Liar, Message in a Bottle, Somewhere in Time, and The Nightmare Before Xmas.
My favorite flowers are irises and sunflowers.
My favorite movie actor is Robin Williams.
My favorite movie actress is Julia Stiles.
My favorite TV actor is Tom Welling. (Sizzle, sizzle!)
I don't have a favorite TV actress.
My favorite TV shows are: Smallville, The Simpsons, Ren & Stimpy, The Nanny, Monk, Futurama, the old Twilight Zone, SNL, and Malcolm in the Middle. And the Drew Carey Show and Whose Line is it Anyway.
