SEP was designed to prepare students whose science and engineering backgrounds should be enhanced, thus improving their academic skills, performance, and the likelihood of professional success. A select faculty works with students to develop the confidence, academic skills, and analytical skills that provide a firm basis for their continuation in bachelor's degree programs in engineering and science. After successfully completing the SEP, these students will be eligible to enter their junior year in science and engineering majors offered at Boston University. Completion of the undergraduate degree will normally require only two additional years of study. Top of Page Academic Support Services The Science and Engineering Program provides a system of academic support services to assure that each student has ample opportunity to obtain whatever assistance he or she may need to gain academic success.
