Aspen Mathews came about on July 16, 1984, when the ship Paradise docked after a ten year absence. That was the first time anyone had ever heard the name Aspen Mathews, for she had no records of even being alive up until that point in her life. she also had no memory of where she had come from or where she had been for those ten years, or even how she got on that ship. She was taken up for adoption by Captain Mathews.
