Powers: Blackbird wore a bird-suit that gave him the power of flight, but he had an acute case of air-sickness which hindered his ability to use the suit effectively.History: (Inferior Five I #1) - Blackbird was a member of H.U.R.R.I.C.A.N.E., a crime cartel that constantly warred with the do-gooders of C.O.U.S.I.N. F.R.E.D. When F.R.E.D. recruited the Inferior Five to take on H.U.R.R.I.C.A.N.E. Blackbird battled the Blimp. Their mid-air fight made Blackbird nauseous, and he desparately clung onto the Blimp, begging for help. The Blimp helped him by knocking him out and dragging him to jail.
