Mostly though she stays to herself, not a good choice since she and her friend Karou is the target by the millennium item seekers, the cause, her Sunnen Star and Karou’s Sunnen Heart.
Her family was killed in a tragic car accident when she was three. She was moved to place to place but ended up in a orphanage. That is were she met Seto and Mokuba. They became good friends, and kept together. He saved her and Mokuba from the bullies till she could defend herself. When she turned five, she was sent away to live with her long lost uncle in America. That's were she learned Duel Monsters and her perfect English.
She received her Sunnen Star when she was fifteen, right after her uncle died of a heart attack. It was a family possession passed down from mother to daughter. But since she became her uncle’s child and he wasn’t married nor did he have any children, she received it.
A year later she traveled to Egypt, for a vacation. Egypt fascinated her, with its Pharaoh’s and it’s hieroglyphics. But what she didn’t know was she was part of it. 3000 years ago, the time Yami was Pharaoh, she was a Sorceress, and the secret lover of Priest Seth. She was put to death accused of murdering three mages, but her soul was captured into the star. In the present, Sorceress Tenshi is Tenshi’s Yami.
Another year went by and she got bored of traveling. She returned to Japan to seek out her destiny and her two best friends. Again she met up with Seto and Mokuba. She and Seto became a couple. She also made many enemies, who were after her Star.
Her star is one of a kind. It has the power of all the other items combined. It has the power of Bakura’s Ring, Yugi’s Puzzle, Shadi’s Key and Scale, Pegasus Eye, Marik’s Rod and Ishuz’s Tauk. She could control people, send people to the shadow realm, lock peoples minds and read their thoughts, she could take peoples souls and erase their minds and also take people to the future or past. But her star also has its own power, she could change ones personality.
