Race is what race your opponent is. You can find the link to the races on the homepage, It is clearly marked as, get this....Races
Sex is what gender your character is, Male, Female, Neither, Both....if you can explain it in a believable way, I'll allow it
Trait is how your opponent thinks moraly, this link will take you too an explaination of the choices for your Traits
Realm is where you live. Either Earth or The Makai. These are explained under the Other Info link on the Homepage.
