  In the late 1800's and early 1900's transportation was limited.  Transportation was made more modern and allowed people to come to Lipton for school.  Many schools joined Lipton.  Some of the schools are Hayward school, Headlands school, and in 1996 Dysart school closed and most students joined    Lipton.
