Starcraft is one hell of a game! This effort by Blizzard is easily the best strategy game ever created. This game is absolutely flawless!
The gameplay in Starcraft is where it's at. The three races are all perfectly balanced and the units each race has are completely different from one another. The races themselves are all different from each other and have their own strengths and weaknesses. Starcraft is a game that is pretty easy to get into but takes time to master. This game really does require a lot of strategy (especially against human opponents). One of the best features of Starcraft is free play over battle.net, which is a great way to compete against other players and improve ones skills. The single player game is very good and has a decent storyline to go along with its excellent gameplay. Starcraft can really do no wrong.
Basically, Starcraft is the best strategy game ever created, even to this day. From the excellent gameplay to the perfect balance between the races, Starcraft is a masterpiece in every right. If you don't already own this game, you should go and buy it since it is one of the best games ever!

The graphics in Starcraft when it was first released were quite good. To this day, the game is fairly decent looking for a strategy game. The engine allows for many units to be onscreen at once and the units are well-designed and cool looking.

Gameplay

Starcraft is easily the best strategy game to date. The three races are all entirely different from each other, yet are perfectly balanced against one another. The main game is quite good, and it trains you to be a better player. The units are all diverse and have different purposes. Its especially cool how there is no one ultimate unit, making it so that an army of one unit type is easily dispatched. There are tons of custom levels in the game and the ability to create your own levels and add a story is a great feature. The multiplayer is incredibly good, especially b.net. The gameplay in Starcraft is perfect.

The story in Starcraft is decent at best. The story is there as an excuse to fight, but the story is bearable and is decent. Its funny how Starcraft rips off the Alien and Predator movies in almost every aspect. The story in Starcraft is not all that great, but it is bearable.

The replay in Starcraft is way up there. The enormous number of levels, and the ability to create your own, make Starcraft have one of the highest replay values of all games. Also, the ability to play online with other people via B.net is an incredibly addictive feature that contributes to the replay value of Starcraft.

Starcraft is one amazing game. No other strategy game to date is as good as this game. The gameplay has yet to be topped in this, and probably won't be until Warcraft III comes out. Basically, Starcraft is a classic game that can be enjoyed by all people. Buy this game!
