He lives at home with his mother, Atsuko. She was never really a good mother because of her addiction to alcohol, so Yusuke did not have the best up-bringing in the world. He may come off as a tough, stubborn ass sometimes (which he is ^^;), but he has a good soul (there's Puu-chan to prove it! XD) and cares for his friends deeply. He will do anything, including sacrifice his life, to protect his comrades. Yusuke usually swears a lot and can be extremely sarcastic and funny. He loves to joke around and make fun of people, even in the heat of a fight. At first he seems unwilling and immature but his determination helps him as he steadily grows up and gains stronger power. All who have fought him, gain a high respect for his attitude and fighting style. I don't want to ruin it for you, so I won't say more...

Abilities:
"Rei gan!" Our pal Yusuke has the ability to gather his rei-ki (spirit energy) into his right index finger and shoot a strong jet of it at an opponent. This power is called the Rei Gan (Spirit Gun). Koenma taught him this after he had been brought back to life. It is his most powerful attack. During his training with Genkai, he learned the Rei Kou Hadou Ken (Spirit Light Wave Fist Fighting Technique) and also learned how to use his fist to shoot out a series of 'bullets' at his opponent, called the Shot Gan (Shot gun..obviously -_-;). This is used to usually take out more than one enemy. He uses it to defeat the leader of the Saint Beasts, Suzaku.
