You Make Me Smile Like A Fucking Schoolgirl

By: Saiyajin_Peach

Their little tryst was short but took longer than usual for just a trip to the toilet. So, Vejita covered up by saying there was a line.

"Yeah, right." Bulma thought, looking at her ex for a moment before returning to the conversation she was having with Chi-Chi.

After a minute or two, Kakarotto returned, taking his seat. Vejita was surprised to see that they didn’t even seem to notice he was gone at all, except the brats. It was obvious Trunks and Goten knew as they giggled away, whispering things to one another. For some reason, their Saiyajin instincts were stronger than Kakarotto’s first son’s. Gohan apparently didn’t suspect a thing as he started up a conversation with his father about one of his exciting days fighting crime in the city where he attended school. That was one of the things that really annoyed Vejita. The boy was capable of so much, yet he wasted his time with his nose in the book. Goten and Trunks were passing him up and they were half his age.

"Oh, here’s our food." Bulma said as a couple of the waiters that had been shuffling about stopped at their table with two large trays cluttered with plates of elegant looking food.

Goku was at the point of drooling when the young man set a plate before him, "Wow. This looks really good."

Bulma smiled, "Dig in."

Simultaneously, Goku and Goten dove into their plates, shoveling food into their mouths and gaining the attention of guests from other tables.

"They really are embarrassing." Chi-Chi said, directing the statement to Bulma, who giggled at the situation.

Trunks dug in with much of the same manner but not at the same speed. Chi-Chi and Bulma continued their chatter between bites. Goku watched as Vejita delicately chewed each bite. He always thought it was funny the way Vejita’s eating habits appealed to him so much. It spelled out royalty.

After the meal, Bulma had to leave to give a speech and introduce an interesting looking DJ couple that would be starting up the music soon. As she went on to thank a few others, a group of men began moving the tables in the center of the room closer to the walls to make space for dancing.

"Mom, when are we goin’ home?" Goten whined, glancing up at his mother.

"Pretty soon." Chi-Chi answered, watching as a few couples stepped to the center of the room as the first song began playing over the high quality speakers.

"Bulma," Chi-Chi said, standing as the blue-haired woman returned to the table, "I’m afraid we’re going to have to be going."

"Oh, sure. No problem. I’m probably going to be leaving here soon too." Bulma said, raking a hand through her tangle free cropped-off hair.

"Are you sure about that?"

"Yeah… Don’t worry about it. I can just leaving it to the vice president. That way I don’t have to worry about the clean up." Bulma said, laughing at her own joke.

"I think we’re goin’ ta go too." Goku said after getting a look from Vejita that said, "Let’s get out of here."

"Okay. I’m glad you came." Bulma smiled to her personal guests as they all exited the building together. It had been… Interesting.

"I’m sleepy, Mom." Trunks whined, tugging at the hem of his mother’s short, tight red dress.

"Well, why don’t you go home and get to bed? Grandma and Grandpa are there, and I’ll be there in a little bit."

"Kay… Night." The lavender-haired boy said before trotting off.

"That was nice, wasn’t it?" Chi-Chi said to her son’s as she continued to drive their hover car towards home.

"Dad and Vejita were actin’ funny." Goten said as he slouched down in his seat, yawning exaggeratedly.

"Yeah, they were weren’t they?" Chi-Chi said, agreeing with her young son.

Gohan sat back, he had a pretty good idea why they’d taken so long in the restroom, since lots of kids at school have make-out sessions in the many gratified stalls. He just wasn’t sure why Vejita had lied, saying there was a line, or had he been lying?

"Goten, did Dad smell like Vejita after he came back from the restroom?" Gohan asked in a voice he hoped was quiet enough for his mother not to hear. He was somewhat ashamed that he wasn’t able to sense the small things that his little brother was able to pick up on so easily.

"Uh-huh." Goten said through a sleepy, groggy voice.

"What?" Chi-Chi said, having heard everything and remembering what Goten said about "being able to tell by the way they smelled" at Bulma’s second attempt at a reunion, "Are you saying they…?"

Gohan sighed, "Yeah." He hadn’t meant to upset his mother further.

"You mean, when they went to the restroom…? I can’t believe it. They couldn’t wait until they got home?" Chi-Chi said in pure disgust. She couldn’t believe they’d done something that disgusting and in a public place no less.

"I really don’t think they could," Gohan said, glancing to his right to see that Goten was sleeping soundly, "It has something to do with a bond… Dad said when they’re separated weird stuff starts happening. Maybe they couldn’t help it."

Chi-Chi made a face at her son’s explanation, "That’s no excuse. If they knew something like that was going to happen, they shouldn’t have come at all."

Gohan sighed, slouching down as well. His mother did have a point. He didn’t want to think about it anymore though. Before long, he too had fallen asleep due to the soothing motions of the hover car.

Chi-Chi smiled serenely at her sons. The peaceful sight of the two boys sleeping like angels calmed her.

---------------------------------------------------

"Jita…" Goku said, kissing the bloody scrape on his lover’s forehead from their recent training bout.

"Hn?"

It had been several weeks since the Capsule Corp. party and they hadn’t spent a moment apart since.

"I love you." Goku said through a smile as he licked across the healing wound. Vejita was on the verge of sleep, and barely managed a smirk. Pale light from the sliver of a moon that hung in the sky poured into the room through the single window in the small bedroom.

"Jita…" this time a whisper.

"Hn… What?" the prince asked, waking.

Goku was unable to answer; he’d gotten too caught up in tracing Vejita’s well-defined abs on his lower stomach.

Vejita lifted his head slightly, just to get a better look at what exactly his mate was doing, "You say it so often."

"What?" Goku asked without looking up, planting gentle kisses on the prince’s bare chest.

"Baka… You’re always saying that you love me."

"Well, I say it a lot because you don’t say it at all." Goku said, letting the little secret that had been bothering him for some time slip out of his mouth and out into the open.

Vejita gasped lightly as Kakarotto licked over one of his nipples before giving it a gentle suck, "I’ve… I’ve said it, haven’t I?" He was a little unsure of anything at times like these, when the younger Saiyajin insisted on repeatedly exploring every inch of his body. He wasn’t complaining though.

"Nu-uh… I just ‘member a long time ago when ya said somethin’ about wanting me." Goku answered, letting a sad look cross his face for just an instant before he moved to the prince’s other nipple.

Vejita felt a tiny ache in his heart. There was no way he could tell the man that he wasn’t sure if he loved him at all, "But aren’t you able to sense my feelings through the bond?"

"Nn… But I want to hear it."

Vejita reached down and caught his mate’s chin in his hands, slowly pulling him up until they were face-to-face in the bed, "Let’s go to sleep."

Goku nodded, letting his head slide out of the firm hold, and resting it on his prince’s shoulder. His hands wouldn’t still though, and he reached a hand up to rest on Vejita’s smooth chest, letting his fingers spread as he pressed his palm against him. Then, he slowly slid his hand down until he had a firm hold his waist, securing them comfortably together. He had to be patient. He couldn’t rush things from Vejita, or he’d surely only succeed in pushing him away.

Vejita couldn’t help but smirk, purring lightly as he lay still with his eyes closed. Kakarotto was unable to not continue his sensual explorations. He knew the man had finally fallen asleep when his hands stilled, and he began to snore lightly. It was amazing to think how close they’d grown. Vejita let the past replay through his mind…

First they were enemies.

Then, they were allies.

And not more than a year ago he was disgusted with himself for even being attracted to the Earth Saiyajin.

Things grew progressively since then…

He lusted him…

Wanted him…

And now he… What?

Vejita wasn't going to deny how he felt. He needed Kakarotto. He couldn’t imagine his life without the fool. It just never occurred to him that he’d have to voice these things to him. All his life he’d been trained to avoid any and all weaknesses. Crying, caring, smiling, and most of all loving. When he’d spent that year in the chamber of spirit and time, the only reason he was able to reach Super Saiyajin level three was because of his inner turmoil… He’d been fighting the fact that he’d wanted the man for so long that it seemed natural, but spending so much time in such a void sent his mind in spirals of "what ifs". What if he admitted his need? What if he claimed the man? What would it hurt? What was he afraid of? Did it hold happiness?

Sighing, Vejita knew that all his decisions had been accurate. He was happy, but now he wondered if his mate was happy. After some time, Vejita finally decided that he’d have to tell Kakarotto how he felt.
