Summary-

The special starts off with Son Gohan running back towards his home. Nearly everyone who knows Son Goku is there where Son Goku lays dead in his bed. Half a year after Son Goku's death, on South Island the Androids had come to life. Everyone tried to defend the Earth as best as possible, but they all died fighting the Androids. Everyone with even remote chance of kill the Androids exluding Trunks and Son Gohan has died. Cut to title screen, then to a glimpse of Pepper Town 13 years after the Androids first appeared. A building is destroyed and man shouts that it's them. Every begins running, and #17 says that he'll gives them 10 seconds to run away. Naturally, when they hit zero they blow up everything in plain sight. A reporter is trying to cover it but is being blown away by the explosion. Cut to the the Kame House, which is empty. But as the camera pans out, we see a submarine scope sticking out of the water. Kamesennin gets ready to go out there and try to beat them, but Puar and Oolong advise otherwise. We cut to a scene where #18 is taking some clothes from a store, a store which #17 blows up afterwords. #18 gets mad because she told him to not destroy clothing stores. After that, #17 hijacks a hover car and begins mowing down people left and right. We cut out to a scene where Bulma and Trunks are on their way home through a desert area. Trunks tells Bulma to stop the car. Trunks then flies off to fight the Androids in Pepper Town. Speaking of Pepper Town, when we come back #17 is still mowing down people in his newly stolen hover car. #18 complains that #17 is taking too long and that he should hurry up. #17 gets out of his car and it wrecks into a building. Trunks arrives at Pepper Town to find all of it destroyed. He lands down at the bottom and picks up a stuffed rabbit doll he sees on the street. After this, the new, future grown-up Son Gohan makes his first appearance. Trunks and Son Gohan go back to Capsule Corp. HQ. Trunks asks Son Gohan to train him, and Son Gohan agrees to it.

We enter the Capsule Corp. kitchen where Son Gohan and Trunks sit down to some rice. We then go outside where Son Gohan tries to teach Trunks how to turn SSJ at first. We then see them sparring for a moment, and Trunks gets knocked into the water. After Trunks dries off a little bit, he asks Son Gohan what Vegeta was like, and Son Gohan explains that he put up a tough front, but he really was good guy. Cut to the Mount Paozu home of Chichi and Ox King. Ox King explains to Chichi that he's heard that Son Gohan and Trunks are now fighting the Androids. Cut back to outside Capsule Corp.. Son Gohan is once more trying to teach Trunks how to become a Super Saiya-jin. Cut to an amusement park. #17 and #18 syphon a roller coaster ride and kill the operator. The Army personnel commander at the park calls for the army, but we cut to scene where the army WOULD be but just find rubble and taken out army vehicles everywhere. The Androids continue having fun, and Son Gohan and Trunks head towards the park. #17 faces off against Son Gohan is a pretty good battle. But at the end of it, #18 interupts. Trunks comes in and tries to take on #18. #18 gets ready to kill Trunks, but is rescued by Son Gohan. Son Gohan takes Trunks and hides in the amusement park. This leaves the Androids no choice but to destroy the entire damned park, which they do. Son Gohan loses his left arm in the explosion, apparently, and feeds his last senzu bean to Trunks. Then he passes out.

Cut to Bulma in her research lab. She's making schematics for the time machine. Bulma calls a doctor and gets him set up in a bed. Exit back outside once more, as Trunks is training to become a Super Saiya-jin once more. But... he fails. Son Gohan and Trunks sit and talk about why he can't become a Super Saiya-jin, but it's interupted by the Capitol exploding. Trunks wants to fight alongside Son Gohan when he goes into he capitol, and Son Gohan says he agrees to let him, but he just chops him in the neck and makes Trunks pass out. #17 and #18 are talking, and then Son Gohan comes in and engages in battle with #17 and #18. After fighting for a while, #17 and #18 stop as does Son Gohan for a moment. Then they go on fighting again. They knock Son Gohan down into the street, and then he's killed with lots of small ki blasts, and then one giant one... Trunks wakes up and flies down and sees Son Gohan's body. Trunks then yells Gohan-San ten times, then he just snaps. Trunks goes SSJ because of Son Gohan's death.

Skip three years since Son Gohan's death. Bulma is nearly done with the Time Machine. It's ready for flight, but Trunks gets the crazy idea to go fight the Androids when they're at Bridge Town. Trunks arrives in SSJ, and #18 and him engage in a fight. #17 joins in after a while. Trunks flies up into the air and uses his Burning Attack, which kind of halts the action for a bit. But, the Androids are ok and make fun of his attacking. Trunks keeps going and just runs out of energy. He can't sustain his SSJ level anymore and is reduced to hiding. They further toy with him and then try to kill him, but can't seem to KILL him. After a bit, they just figure that they've wounded him enough for one day and leave. Trunks awakens in a bed at home. After Trunks has healed up from his last fight, he hops into his time machine called Hope!! and travels 20 years back in time to when Metal Freeza was just landing on Earth, right before Son Goku arrives.

Son Gohan vs. Trunks
Really just a sparring match. Son Gohan kicks Trunks into the ocean, and after that they fight no more, so... Winner: Son Gohan

Son Gohan and Trunks vs. Androids #17 and #18
It starts off as a one-on-one bount between #17 and Son Gohan. #17 trys a few slide kicks and a kikou ha, but Son Gohan avoids all and turns SSJ. They fight in close range for a bit, but #17 gains the upperhand quickly and crashes Son Gohan through a roof. Right when Son Gohan begins beating the poo outta #17, #18 steps in and clobbers Son Gohan. #17 and #18 double team Son Gohan for a moment, but then Trunks makes #18 back off. They fight on top of a ferris wheel, and Trunks get the crap knocked out of him and #18 almost kills him, but he's saved by Son Gohan, they go into hiding. That is, until they blow up the whole place. Winners: #17 and #18

Son Gohan vs. Androids #17 and #18
Son Gohan does his best to take out the Androids here, but it's 2-on-1 and he's missing an arm, he eventually goes down for the TKO and is finished by them both via a shower of small ki blasts and then a big one. Winners: #17 and #18

Trunks vs. Androids #17 and #18
This battle isn't really even a battle. #17 and #18 are harmed very little to none at all. Even after going SSJ, Trunks still can't get the job done. He keeps on using attack after attack eventually can't sustain his SSJ level anymore. Then he attempts to hide from them, but just gets the snot beat out of him by the Androids when they easily find him. He keeps on trying though, and at the end he finally up and just uses what little he's got left in him to punch them. When he punches #18, she just stands there and takes them without flenching. They totally beat the crap out him after that. He's knocked out eventually, and he wakes up in a room in the Capsule Corp. house. Lucky guy. Winners: #17 and #18
