Dragonball GT or Grand Tour is an attempt by Toei Animation Co. to carry on the amazing success of the previous 2 series' This series brings an altogether wider plot, and much more advanced animation but lacks that original and impeccable Akira touch. Had Akira been part of this, there is no doubt it would have been amazing even by his standards.

DBGT is based about 10 years ahead of DBZ. Goku was wished to be a kid once again by Pilaf, which sparks the Grand Tour as Goku, Trunks and Pan start their adventure in search of the Dragon balls, in space. They battle many adversaries throughout their trips and this series also brings a few unfamiliar transformations such as Golden Oozaru and SSJ4, which was even regarded as not being acceptable as a Saiyan level as it was not created by Akira Toriyama. This is also the shortest of the DB series'.
