Finally, Sunday had arrived. Selenity and the inner senshi were at Selenity’s home on the Moon. Queen Serenity was helping the girls and Selenity with their makeup, their hair, and everything else. Queen Serenity was also holding onto Selenity’s wedding ring. Endymion and his groomsmen were at his home on Earth. They were also getting ready. Endymion had a red rose in his tuxedo. The four generals had white roses in their tuxedos. Endymion’s father helped the guys with their tuxes and ties. Endymion’s father was also the one holding onto Endymion’s wedding ring. Endymion, his father and mother, and his groomsmen were the first to arrive at the church. Soon, guests were arriving, greeting the groom and his parents.

Meanwhile, Selenity and the bridesmaids were still getting ready. Soon, all of the girls were ready. The bridesmaids had changed into their dresses in different room. Selenity got dressed in her room. Queen Serenity went to Selenity’s room to check up on her.

“How are you doing, Selenity?”

“I’m okay. Just a little nervous.”

“What are you nervous for? You’re going to marry the man you love. You’re going to be his wife. There’s nothing to worry about. You two will be together like your ring says, ‘Always and Forever’.”

“You’re right, mother. I have nothing to worry about. The wedding will be perfect.”

“That’s right! Now finish up and I’ll present you to your bridesmaids.”

“Okay.”

“Do you need any help?”

“No, thank you, mother.”

“Okay. When you’re ready, use the intercom system. I’ll be in the dressmakers’ work room with your bridesmaids.”

“Okay.”

After her mother left, she looked at herself in the full length mirror. She smiled and gushed. She put on the finishing touch. Pearl earrings and her veil. She called her mother on the intercom.

“I’m ready, mother.”

“Okay, I’m coming.” The bridesmaids were all ready and dressed. They were commenting on how they look and talking about how perfect the wedding will be. Minako turned to Queen Serenity.

“Was that Selenity, Queen Serenity?”

“Yes, it was. I’m going to get her now. Come with me. You’ll wait for me and my daughter and the bottom of the staircase. I’m going to present her to you.”

“Great idea!” Rei stated. Queen Serenity motioned for them to exit the room and to wait at the bottom of the staircase. Queen Serenity reached Selenity’s room. She knocked on the door.

“Are you ready, Selenity?”

“Yes, Mother. I am.”

“Can you come out please?” The door opened. There she was, her white gown, her long train and veil, her blushing face. “Oh, Selenity. You look beautiful. But you’re missing something.”

“What? What is it mother?” Queen Serenity took out a black velvet box. “What is that?” Queen Serenity opened it to show Selenity. Selenity gasped in astonishment. “Mother. It’s lovely.”

“This is the family heirloom. This necklace was passed down from one generation to the next. I wore this necklace on my wedding day. It is said to give you good luck.”

“Mother. I don’t know what to say.” Queen Serenity removed it from the box and put it on Selenity. It sparkled and shined on Selenity. “Oh, thank you, Mother!!” They hugged each other.

“Now, are you ready to go down stairs and present yourself to your bridesmaids? They’re waiting for you.”

“Yes. I am.”

“Then, let’s get started. Wait until I say your name. When you hear it, then come down the staircase. That’s where everyone will be waiting for you. I hope you don’t mind that I asked everyone in the house to come see you.”

“You mean, even the servants are waiting down there for me?”

“Yes. I gave them the day off to go see your wedding too. Is that a problem?”

“No. Not at all.”

“Then let’s go.” Queen Serenity descended. Everyone quieted down. Queen Serenity stood at the bottom of the staircase. “Everyone. Friends and family. I’d like to present to you my beautiful daughter, Princess Selenity.” Everyone gazed at the top of the staircase. Soon, everyone laid eyes on Selenity. Selenity slowly descended the stairs. She looked so beautiful. Everyone was so amazed by her beauty. Everyone clapped and gave her hugs and good luck when she reached the bottom of the stairs. Queen Serenity spoke once again. “ Well, everyone. It’s time to go to the church!” The bridesmaids cheered. “To all my servants. Thank you for attending the wedding. We’ll see you there!” The servants clapped. Selenity, her mother and the bridesmaids headed towards the door. Queen Serenity opened the door to find a delivery man waiting there. “May I help you, sir?”

“Yes. I have a Princess Selenity’s bridal bouquet. It was sent from Prince Endymion. He would like for her to use this bouquet when she walks down the aisle.” Queen Serenity took the bouquet and handed it to Selenity. Selenity smelled the bouquet. It had a very beautiful sent. Selenity opened the other door so she could talk to the delivery man.

“Excuse me, sir. But what kind of flowers are these?” Selenity asked.

“I’m not sure. They’re quite new. I’ve never seen them before, but Prince Endymion tells me that he found them in his garden and he named them after you, Princess Selenity.”

“Oh.”

“I’d also like to say that you look very beautiful, Princess Selenity. You make a handsome couple with Prince Endymion.”

“Thank you, sir.” Queen Serenity thanked the delivery man and invited him to the wedding. He accepted.

“Well, let’s go. We’re a little late now.” Queen Serenity said. Everyone shouted with excitement and headed towards the church.

Soon, everyone arrived at the church. It was drawing near one o’clock. Queen Serenity and King and Queen Endymion went to the altar and called everyone’s attention.

“Excuse me, everyone. If you would please take your seats, we will now start the wedding.” King Endymion said. The wedding march song began playing. Endymion was standing at the altar, looking down the aisle. His father and mother were to his right and Selenity’s mother was to his left. Soon, Rei and Jedite walked down the aisle, arm in arm, Rei holding her bouquet of lillies, a pink rose in her hair and Jedite in his white tuxedo, hair slicked back, white rose in his tux. When reached the altar, Jedite parted to the left and stood next to Endymion’s parents while Rei parted to the right and stood next to Selenity’s mother. Next was Makoto and Nephlite, then Ami and Zoicite, and finally, Minako and Malachite. Soon, a little girl in a white dress (who was Selenity’s four year old cousin) walked down the aisle, holding a basket full of red rose petals, sprinkling it all over the aisle. When the girl reached the altar, Selenity appeared. Everyone stood up. She began to walk down the aisle. Eveyone smiled at her and there were whispers of good luck everywhere. Selenity looked at Endymion and he had a big smile on his face. So did Selenity. Soon, Selenity and Endymion were at the altar together, ready to get married. They were ready to say their “I do’s”.

Soon, it came. The priest spoke.

“The rings please.” he said, signaling the parents to take out the rings they were holding onto. They opened the cases. The rings shined and glimmered. “Selenity, we will begin with you.” Selenity nodded her head, smiling at Endymion. That signaled King and Queen Endymion to give Selenity Endymion’s ring. The king and queen and Selenity exchanged kisses on the cheeck. She smiled at them. “Now, Selenity. Repeat after me.” After she had repeated everything the priest said, she slipped the ring onto his finger. Soon, it was Endymion’s turn to give Selenity her ring. Queen Serenity gave Endymion Selenity’s ring and also exchanged kisses on the cheeck. “Now, Endymion. Repeat after me.” After he repeated everything the priest said, he slipped the ring onto her finger. They looked at each other and smiled. The priest joined their hands. “If anyone knows why these two should not join in holy matrimony, let them speak now or forever hold their peace.” It was dead silent. The priest looked at the two and smiled. “I’m glad to say that Prince Endymion and Princess Selenity are now husband and wife.” He turned to look at Endymion. “You may now kiss the bride.” They smiled at each other and let their lips meet. Everyone stood up and cheered. They walked down the aisle together, arm in arm, now husband and wife. There were guests outside, waiting for the couple to walk down the church stairs. As soon as the church doors opened, the crowd of guests cheered and shouted shouts of joy and happiness. They threw white and red confetti at the couple. The two laughed and smiled. There, at the church steps was a white horse and carriage, waiting to take them to the reception. After they got in, they waved at the guests. The bridesmaids and the couples mothers’ went to the reception in a white limosine while the groomsmen and the groom’s father went to the reception in a black limosine.

Soon, all everyone was at the reception. Everyone was having a great time. Everyone congratulated the couple. They made toasts and had lots of fun. It was time for the bouquet toss. All the bridesmaids and other single women crowded around for the bouquet toss. Minako, Rei, and Makoto were in the front. Ami got lost somewhere in the back. All the girls counted.

“One!! Two!! Three!!!” The bouquet was thrown. All the girls charged for the bouquet. Surprisingly, Rei, Minako, and Makoto weren’t the ones to catch it. None of the girls were. It was Ami. Everyone turned to look at her. Ami blushed in embarrassment. The girls stared at her.

“Here. You guys can have it!” She threw it back into the crowd of girls. All the girls followed the bouquet with their eyes. There it was, on the ballroom floor. No one moved. The girls looked at each other. Suddenly, Nephlite ran across the ballroom, grabbing the bouquet. He waved it around in the air shouting,

“I got it! I got it!” All the girls got furious with him and started running after him. The girls started shouting, “Gimme that bouquet!” or “I want that bouquet!” or “That bouquet is gonna be mine!”. Nephlite ran all around the ballroom, waving the bouquet in the air, saying “I got it! I got it!!” The other generals were embarrassed. Soon the reception was over.

Everyone left, except for the bridesmaids, the groomsmen, and the happy couple. Minako and Rei were still running after Nephlite for the bouquet. Makoto had given up. Finally, Nephlite got tired and threw the bouquet away. Once again, it was on the ballroom floor. Now, Rei and Minako were fighting over it.

“I’m so happy, Endymion.”

“I’m happy too, Selenity.”

“Our lives are now officially perfect!”

“Wait?? Officially? Are you saying that our life before we got married wasn’t perfect?”

“Oh no. I didn’t mean that. I mean that it’s even more perfect now. You’re my husband. I’m your wife. What more could I ask for?”
