“Hmm. Who could that be?” Endymion asked.

“Maybe it’s Liz and Max. Maybe they forgot something.” Selenity said.

“Yeah. You could be right.” Endymion said. They went to open the door. Selenity gasped a little. Endymion was a little shocked. “Wilson, what are you doing here?” Endymion asked.

“I just wanted to see the happy couple.” he said excitedly.

“Well, thanks. We’re doing just fine.” Endymion said.

“Yeah, we’re planning an engagement party with Liz and Max.” Selenity said excitedly. “Would you like to help out?” she asked.

“Um, no thanks. I’d rather just attend it than help plan it,” he said. “No offense or anything. It’s not that I don’t want to help, it’s just that I’m not a planning kind of person. I hope you understand. Please forgive me.” Wilson said.

“I understand. Thanks anyway.” Selenity said.

“I’m sorry. Would you like to come in, Wilson?” Endymion asked.

“Yeah. Thanks.” Wilson said.

“I’ll go make some tea.” Selenity said. A few minutes later, she came back with the tea. “Here you go.” Selenity said, giving the cup of tea to Wilson.

“Thank you.” he said.

“Here you go, dear.” Selenity said, giving the cup to Endymion.

“Thank you, love.” Endymion replied. For the rest of the afternoon, the three of them talked.

“Well, thanks for having me over.” Wilson said.

“Well, thanks for coming over.” Endymion said.

“Anytime!” Wilson said.

“See you, Wilson!” Endymion said.

“See you later! And don’t worry. I will come to your engagement party. Just give me a call.” Wilson said.

While Wilson was walking home, he started talking to himself.

“Yes Endymion, I will come to your engagement party...to steal your fiancée away to become my wife. She’ll no longer be yours. She’ll be MINE!!!!” he said, laughing afterwards. When he got home, he started planning on how he was going to steal Selenity away. “Okay. This is what I’ll do. I’ll go to the engagement party. Of course, the couple will be together. So, I’ll separate them by pretending that I have to talk to Endymion. Then, when we get to a secluded area, I’ll send him to another dimension or a dungeon. Then, I’ll return to the party. Eventually, Selenity will ask me where Endymion is. I’ll tell her that he had to leave for a while. And then...” he finished, laughing evilly.

Weeks passed and it was soon time for the engagement party. As a matter of fact, it was tomorrow. Endymion gave Wilson a call. Wilson’s phone rang. He picked up.

“Hello?” Wilson said.

“Hi Will. It’s Endymion.”

“Oh, hi! What’s up?”

“Tomorrow’s the engagement party. Will you be able to make it?”

“Oh yeah. Of course I’ll be able to. I wouldn’t miss it.”

“Great. See you tomorrow at 2.” Endymion said.

“Got it. See you tomorrow” Wilson replied. They hung up. “Great. I’ll be able to execute my plan!” Wilson said evilly and smiled an evil grin.

“Thanks for coming to the party.” Selenity and Endymion said as they greeted the guests. They had a lot of guests. Almost one hundred! Including Wilson, of course. Soon, the party was starting. Almost all the guests had arrived. Everybody settled down, greeted and congratulated Selenity and Endymion, and mingled. Soon, it was time to toast the couple. A lot of people toasted them. One guest even said that they were a Romeo and Juliet story come true. Many people giggled at that comment, even the happy couple. Even Wilson toasted to them. Soon, it was time to mingle again. Now, it was time for Wilson to execute his plan. He approached Endymion and tapped him on the shoulder.

“Hey Endymion. Can I steal you from the lady for a minute?” he asked.

“Sure,” Endymion answered. “Just a sec,” he said. He turned to Selenity. “I’m going to step away for a second to talk to Wilson, okay?” he told Selenity. She just nodded. “Okay, let’s go.” he said to Wilson, not knowing what he was getting himself into. The two started walking into the wooded area in back of the house. Wilson started talking to Endymion.

“Let me tell you something. There’s this girl I REALLY like, but she already has a beau.” Wilson explained.

“Oh. That’s too bad.” he said, not knowing that he was talking about him and Selenity.

“Well, this girl I like is madly in love with her beau, but I love this girl. I’ve spoken to her a couple of times, but she doesn’t really seem to notice me.”

“So, just let the two be. If you try anything with them, her boyfriend will probably protect this girl you like so much and won’t let you take her away.”

“But I REALLY REALLY like her. I don’t want her to be with her boyfriend. I only want her to be with me.”

“Look man, I suggest that you leave the girl alone. Become better friends with her so that you gain her trust. Then that way, if the girl and her boyfriend have a fight or something, she’ll turn to you first for comfort because she trusts you. That’s what I would do, but of course, there’s no need for me to do that. I already have a fiancée. The best thing to do is to leave them alone. Don’t try to break them up. Just become better friends with the girl. She’ll like you better and notice you more. You’ll be her really close friend. Don’t sweat it.” Endymion said.

“Hey, thanks man. That helps a lot.” Wilson explained, knowing perfectly what to do as soon as he gets rid of Endymion.

“No problem.” Endymion said. “By the way, do I know this girl?”

“Yes, actually, you do.”

“Really? Who is it?”

“SELENITY!!!!!” Wilson exclaimed while locking Endymion in a box. Endymion banged on the box, trying to free himself.

“Why are you doing this?” Endymion asked frantically.

“I’m only doing what you told me to do. I’m gonna make really good friends with Serene and I’ll be the first one she turns to for comfort because of the fact that you are missing!” he said, laughing evilly.

“You little rat! How could you?”

“How could I? What a dumb question. I’ve had enough of you. I’m sending you off now to a place where no one knows of except me.”

“What are you going to do to Selenity? You better not hurt her, or I’ll...”

“Or you’ll what? Kill me? Ha. That’s so funny, I forgot to laugh.” he said.

“When I get my hands on you, I’ll grip your neck so hard, your head will come off.”

“Oh no! You’re scaring me. I better send this monster away before it comes to get me!” he said, lifting the box up in the air with his finger. “Have a nice trip.” he said, flicking his finger upward, sending the box flying through the air. “See you soon!”

Wilson returned to the party. It was 10 o’clock at night. The guests were leaving. Soon, all the guests had left except Wilson. He was pretending to be the last one to leave. Before he went out the door, Selenity gently called out his name.

“Wilson?” Selenity called softly.

“Yes Selenity?”

“Do you know where Endymion is by any chance? I’m getting quite worried.” It’s late. I’m afraid he’s hurt or something.”

“Don’t worry about him. I’m sure he’ll come back soon. The last I saw, he said he was going to pick something up. Now, I don’t know where he is.”

“I’m so worried. I hope he’s alright.”

“Endymion’s a big boy. He can take care of himself. Don’t worry. I’m sure he’ll be back soon.”

“Yeah, you’re probably right. I’m worrying over nothing.”

“If it helps, I’ll stay here with you until he returns home.” Wilson offered.

“Oh, would you? I really don’t like staying in such a big place, even if it is my own home, by myself. It would help a lot knowing that you are here.”

“Sure. Of course I can stay. Any friend of Endymion’s is a friend of mine.”

“Oh, thank you so much Wilson.”

“Oh, no problem.”

“Please, make yourself comfortable while I make some tea.”

“Thank you Selenity.” Wilson said. When Selenity left the living room, he talked to himself quietly. “Wilson, you are a genius. Everything is going according to plan. Now, I just have to ‘become better friends’ with Selenity.” Selenity soon returned with the tea.

“Here’s your tea.” Selenity said, handing him his cup of tea. They each took a quiet sip of their tea.

“So... tell me about yourself...” Wilson started. “I’d like to become better friends with you...”
