The smile grew. Selenity woke up, with that smile on her face. “I can’t believe I did that. I killed Anna.” She smiled more. “I used my magic to bounce back the dagger, then, it stabbed her. Incredible!” She went back to the hospital. When she got in the room, Endymion was alive and awake. At that moment, she gave a huge smile. She ran to the bed and gave him a gentle hug. “I knew you would make it.” Selenity said with joy. “Did the doctor tell you what happened?”

“No. He did say that I lost a lot of blood.” Endymion answered.

“Yes, you did. Almost no one had compatible blood.”

“So, who was the one that donated blood to me?”

“It was the fortune teller we saw at the fair.”

“Really?”

“Yeah, isn’t it incredible?” Selenity gave a deep sigh. “You were definitely born under a lucky star!”

“Yeah. Isn’t that something?”

“It sure is!”

Finally, Endymion was able to leave the hospital. Everyone was glad that he was still alive. Especially Selenity. But, Selenity was sent back home to the moon. Now, it was back to the old life. Even after all this, they still had to cross planets secretly. After all they’ve been through, they still had to see each other in the secret hiding place. That made seeing Endymion difficult.

“Oh mother, I’m so happy.”

“Why Endymion? Why are you so happy today?”

“Don’t you know? Today’s my birthday. I’m a free man now!!!!”

“Well, I’m glad for you. We must arrange a ball. Now that you’re twenty, you must find a girl to marry.”

“But mother, I have.”

“Please don’t tell me it’s Selenity.”

“It is. I want to marry her. I know she’s the one for me.”

“Well, we’re gonna set up a ball for you, whether you want one or not, and it will be tonight.”

“Okay. Fine. Go ahead. I won’t mind. Just as long as Selenity is there.” The Queen walked away, shaking her head. Then she spoke to herself, mumbling. “That boy. I think he lost a little too much blood. *sigh*”

“*Ding Dong* Mail for the King, Queen and Princess of the Moon.” called the mailman.

“Thank you sir.” Selenity said kindly. She opened the letter. Then, a smile grew on her face. “Mother. Father. Prince Endymion is inviting us to his 20th birthday party!!”

“Well, that is good news.” said the King. “Selenity, go pick out something nice to wear. You must look stunning for his 20th birthday.”

“Why father? What’s so important about this one?” she asked.

“Why, that’s when the prince will choose a girl to be his future bride.” Selenity’s face turned red. Her eyes were sparkling and her smile stretched all the way to her ears. She ran up to her room to make a sketch of the dress and have the dressmaker create it for her.

“Oh, I’m so excited. I can’t wait to go to Endymion’s ball. I know I’ll be his bride. I know I will. Nothing can keep us apart.” She smiled. She danced around her room, feeling light and free. She stopped and finally realized that she had to draw the dress she wanted. She wanted it to be perfect. “I know Endymion will choose me. After all we’ve been through together, he can’t turn me down.” She closed her eyes and smiled. She began to draw the dress she wanted to wear. After long hours, she was finished. She gave it to the dressmaker. “I want you to create this dress for me. Make sure you don’t skip anything. I want every little detail. Everything has to be perfect.”

“I’ll make sure of it, princess.” said the dressmaker. Selenity left with a smile on her face. When she got to the room, she shouted, “Everything will be perfect!!”
